Elyra Diana Figueroa's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Elyra Figueroa is a results-oriented physician, drawing form years of medical and maternal experience. Our child had suffered with allergies and asthma since infancy. We could count on an ER visit at least once or twice a year. Under her care for over four years and we have not had a single ER visit since. The allergies are well-controlled and we almost don't remember the asthma. Don't hesitate to consult with Dr. Elyra.

Dr. Figueroa and her staff are all I could have hoped for in a medical practitioner. She has been my Allergist for several years now and has always provided the absolute best care, and I believe, best advice and treatment during every visit and for every issue. If you are looking for a doctor whose medical knowledge is encyclopedic, treats the whole person, and takes the time to be caring even while maintaing a very efficient office, then Dr. Figueroa is someone you should consider visiting.

My son has been seeing Dr. Figgy for 7 years. We absolutely love the care she provides and her personality. My son has seen great improvement and I don't feel he's over medicated.

Dr. Figueroa has been treating both my son & daughter who suffer from multiple allergies for several years. I find she and her staff to be thorough, patient and conscientious. My kids have complicated allergy issues and I've always felt listened to and had my questions answered. In addition, when I have needed to call when it wasn't office hours, the response time was good! I have recommended Dr. Figueroa and will continue to do so.

I saw Dr. Figueroa last May/June. She did a thorough allergy test and some immunology blood panels. She couldn't find any reason that I'd been sick for the past year, so she wanted me to try allergy shots. I said I'd think about it, but in the end I declined. In August, her nurse called me to ask if I wanted to start the shots. I said no, but that I would like my medical records. The nurse said, "Okay, I'll tell the doctor." I asked her when I could pick up my records, to which she responded again with, "Okay, I'll tell the doctor." Fast forward to October. No medical records. I called their office and again requested medical records from the nurse. She once again said "Okay, I'll tell the doctor." I asked her when I could pick them up. She took down my phone number and said she'd call me back in a few minutes. The next day, she had not called, so I called again. She once again said "Okay, I'll tell the doctor." I told her, I can pick them up this afternoon." She said she would call me when they were ready. No call. The next day I called AGAIN. They were closed. The day after that I called yet again, she said they would be ready the next day, and that she would call me to let me know when they were ready, most likely before noon. To my great surprise, she did not call. I called the office AGAIN, and got an answering machine stating that they were busy with other patients (they have a separate message when the office is closed). I drove to the office, and there was no one there. They were either closed all day or had closed early - I have no idea, since no one would answer the phone. I am now most likely going to have to pay for and go through all of that testing again, since this office will not give me my medical records.

Dr. Figueroa is an excellent and very educated allergist. My children see her for their allergies, and she is amazing with children. Dr. Figueroa has treated my son for his seasonal allergies and my daugher for her eczema. She is very prompt to return phone calls, and she really cares for her patients. She is just like a family friend to us. We are raving fans of Dr. Figueroa!

Dr. Figueroa is an incredible doctor. She goes above and beyond the role of a physician. My entire family sees her and she has helped us out more than we can say. I suffer from HORRIBLE year round allergies. I have never been able to keep them in control until I saw Dr. Figueroa. Unfortunately, my daughters suffer the same fate with allergies. Dr. Figueroa has finally helped us keep my little one from suffering. I work in the medical field and have worked with many physicians. Dr. Figueroa is hands down one of the best physicians I have worked with professionally as well. To see the care that she has for her patients made me want to bring my whole family to see her.

Dr. Figueroa is an excellent allergist! She cares deeply about her patients and is always available when we need her. I love that she regularly posts allergy numbers and research articles on her Facebook page. I would happily refer her to anyone needing an allergist!!!

Made me wait over an hour. Total visit time was 3+ hours because they "are implementing a new system".. She seemed averagely qualified. Her diagnosis was "I am an allegetic person". Well Duh... that is why I am there to begin with. She prescribed me allergy meds that work no better than over the counter meds. And after insurance she charged me $750 cash! Forget her. Save yourself the hassle and time. See a REAL allergist doctor..
