A year ago I was living a carefree happy life. five months ago I was directed to a MRI where a 2 inch tumor was detected I was told that if I didn't have it removed tight away I hav two months to live.Four days later after the surgery to remove the Tumor by Dr Leuthardt,I felt no different The surgery was a complete success as far as Glioblastoma can be the first time around. I feel as good today as I did a year ago, only a little better knowing that my prognosis was changed to living another year. Thanks to Dr Luethardt I now have hope to beat this unbeatable cancer. P. S. In a conversation with another person a few days ago He related to me that his father was diagnosed with Glioblastoma and was diagnosed to Iive anther year after the surgery. He made 7 years. I am going to try for 10 years, god willing. Dr Leuthardt is not only a great physician he is a nice person. Thank you Dr Leuthardt for your hard work. It certainly paid off this time. I must say that Dr. Leuthardt changed my life. I've had epilepsy since I was about 14 years old & prior to the surgery he performed on me in 2009, I was having seizures almost daily. At that point, I was unable to drive or work...basically unable to safely be alone. I was maxed out on 2 medications that I took 3 times a day, plus Ativan daily & was super depressed. I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant, take a normal dose of 1 medication twice a day & living a normal life. Thank you Dr. Leuthardt!
