Inderjit Singh's Online Review Report Card

Well, he put my husband on a medication that requires my husband to have to pay over $200.00 out of pocket. When my husband explained this to the Dr., his response was "What is your price for your health?" When my husband responded that he was retired and on a fixed income Dr. Singh responded "Well, you can take the medication or die." We are currently looking for a more compassionate provider. He's lucky I wasn't there...

Not very impressed. Have only seen twice, with 2 major sets of labs, but doesn't seem to have much grasp of what's wrong. Moreover, his staff seems to chronically over-book/double-book patients. The first appointment, I arrived an hour early and still didn't see him until 2 hours past my appointment time, and that was with many patients getting sick of waiting and leaving. 2nd appointment, doctor didn't arrive in office until half-hour after my appointment time. From what I heard in waiting room, this is typical. Plus, he's only in office here one day/wk (Tuesday) - so scheduling is a problem. Do you really need a specialist? If you do (like me), know what you're buying into.

First of all if I was just rating Dr. Singh it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately he has 2 nurses in his office that deserve the 1 star. In Illinois it is mandatory to wear a face mask. Doctor and patients had face masks on, but the 2 nurses refuse. I know it’s unbelievable that any nurse would reject protection, but these 2 clowns do. Remember every patient is suffering a kidney disorder and has to have a mask less nurse in your face! I’m terrified I’m going to get sick. If I don’t get sick, not sure I’ll be back.

I have dealt with nephrologists since I was diagnosed at age 2 with nephrocalcinosis and I have never had to explain what my kidney disease was to any of my doctors until I saw Dr. Singh. I found it very disconcerting that I had to explain it to a kidney "specialist"

hes seems ok so far but very slow make appts and hes never there on time 11 apt he doesn't get there until noon.

Dr Singh is a knowledgeable practitioner. However, some of the staff are rude and frequently double book patients in the same time slots, with the excuse that certain patients often do not show up. But when they do, every appoint following ends up having to wait that much longer to be seen. Not that Dr Singh tends to be on-time for even the first appointment of the day anyway. At least not from my years of observation at the Christian NE location. Be ready to wait 30-90mins just in lobby.

Dr. Singh is a excellent doctor with a brilliant & friendly staff who put your needs first, & educated me on my kidney disease & new diet, highly suggest you see dr. Singh!!!

Like previous commenter, I too see Dr. I. Singh at Christian NE. He is never close to seeing me on-time. I wait more than an hour past my scheduled appointments. - Office management is apparently inefficient/incompetent about notifications that doctor is running late. Not to mention I have had appointment dates cancelled/rescheduled without so much as a letter or phone call , twice. In general, in talking with other patients, the schedule seems to be overbooked regularly and the doctor rarely is in office on time to even see the first patient. - I have been advised to report these observations to the state medical board for review of other similar reported grievances. (It is our right to be seen and treated in a prompt and professional manner.)
