List of Jeffrey D. Harris's Reviews
Hard to reach. Never available. Booking 4 months out. Hard to get an appointment. No office email to contact. Rarely anyone answers the office phone. Poor follow up. Poor patient care and experience.
Always helpful staff and Dr Harris takes time to listen and explain
Awful place...don't visit here unless you want more problems! Now maybe if you have enough money to buy his "Concierge Program " it would be different, I however find it unethical to say, if you pay for a special program you will get my personal cell number and preferred treatment! His staff is lazy and rude. Very condescending even when they don't do their job and neglect to order CPAP machines and such that YOU need! Stay away unless you like hassles and rude treatment. If
I have been seeing this Dr. for 9 years. During that time his office staff has gotten worse all the time. Canceling appointments without any reason, sarcastic staff, unprofessional and just plain rude!! The only person who is professional and good at her job is the woman who does the lung function tests, she is only there 2 days a week now. The office staff acts as if they have had no training at all. I would avoid this place at all costs!! If you have to see a pulmonoligist, you don't need this problem too.
Until today I would have always given Dr Harris and his staff 5+ stars. Tried to explain to his staff how I have burned through a year worth of rescue inhalers in 5 months and she wouldn't even allow me to get my point across. As a over the road truck driver I change environment and climate sometimes as fast as several times a day and with allergies and asthma I burn through my rescue inhalers at a alarming rate. I don't understand why people wouldn't listen to the patient.
Staff is horribly rude. Any good physician should be able make sure that their staff is courteous and kind to patients. They cancel the doctor's appointments for no reason with little notice.
I called to schedule an appointment, due to having Bronchitis and was advised that because I have canceled appointments previously. I can only be seen on 12/28. I advised the person on the line that I have not canceled any appointments and she basically call me a liar. I advised her several times that have not canceled any appointments. So I guess I will continue to suffer with this persistent coughing and other issues. Because systems can't be wrong, but I can. Thanks
Waiting too long for my apap supplies. Staff could not care less!
I had been treated for asthma for years. I felt that I should be feeling better after three years with the pulmonologist that was treating me. I then got another name of a pulmonologist from my general practitioner. I went to him and found that he ran some tests, but also supported asthma as my diagnosis. He also never changed my medication, so my condition remained the same. I mentioned this to my ENT specialists. She recommended that I see Dr. Harris. I went to my appointment with Dr. Harris and was immediately very impressed with him. He was very knowledgeable, thorough, and professional. He had me get a CAT scan. He then informed me that I had a lung disease that would not show up on a regular chest x-ray, but the CAT scan he suggested confirmed that I had a lung disease known as bronchiolitis obliterans. I have increased my lung tests values and feel much better since having Dr. Harris as my pulmonologist. I would certainly recommend Dr. Harris to anyone.
Everything goes downhill when you start being a bit more proactive in your care. I specifically want to lower my meds, I'm on some that are there just to counteract each other. I changed my other providers to get a good team that's willing to work together. He is not. I was experiencing bad symptoms with a benzo he prescribed me, and he seemed offended that I even suggested it could be an issue (it's well known that it is), and ordered me to have my PCP figure out what was the real culprit. I ended up having to use my PCP to carefully withdraw from the benzo, since he was so uncooperative. Another one of my doctors suggested a med that could possibly greatly simplify my issues, and he refused to even respond to my suggestion that I try it, so I don't even know why it will or won't help me. I'm not contacting him all the time, maybe a few times a year, yet he seems irritated to have to listen to me or my other doctors. Also kept emailing me bills with another doctor's name on them.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
