He is just amazing. Extremely friendly, personable, and funny. He’s also extremely professional and is really at the top of his game. His bedside manner is absolutely impeccable. I would not hesitate to recommend him to ANYONE needing an otolaryngologist/ENT specialist. I simply cannot say enough good things about Dr. Sappington!

Dr. Josh Sappington is truly exceptional, outstanding, and goes above and beyond the call of duty for his patients. I actually had reviewed the comments he had online from patients, and I knew going into my first meeting with him that he had brilliant marks. Now I know why, and I fully agree. Not only is he knowledgeable and an expert in his field (indeed educating me and my family on matters impacting my health and entire family's well being) but he is also a kind, genuine, and thoughtful physician, who embodies his Hippocratic oath and all the good values and principles a MD in our educational institution should. He is an example to follow, and I am so glad he is here with us at SLU. I will need to see him again for health issues related to my hearing, and I am glad he is there. At stressful times for us all, he is a positive force and makes one want to go back in for check ups and deal with health issues as they arise. Just an inspiring professional, I hope he is retained!

I have Meniere's Disease and have visited Dr. Sappington three times since my previous ENT retired. Every time, he gives you his full attention and spends as much time with you as you need --- no rushing. He is personable and fully explains your condition in layman's terms and provides you with options, I'm on the verge of needing a cochlear implant, but he is leaving the choice and timing up to me. Unlike many surgeons, he is not pushing surgery to make more money. He is more concerned about doing what is best for the patient. As a fairly young but experienced physician, he is on top of the latest research as he serves as an assistant professor at St. Louis University medical school. His staff is likewise friendly and works well to find appointments to fit the patent's schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Sappington to those who need the services of an ENT.

I saw Dr. Sappington for the first time. He was highly recommended by my previous retired ENT. Dr. Sappington reviewed my records before seeing, was thorough and professional, and took as much time with me as I wanted. He also has a good sense of humor. I can understand why he was so highly recommended and am looking forward to continuing our relationship.
