I would not recommend this Endocrinologist to anyone of color or just anyone period. I was very underwhelmed and unimpressed. Rude, unprofessional, lack of concern, lack of care, lack of bedside manner. I would not recommend this MD to my worst enemy.

Dr. Silverstein was an absolute pleasure! She is thorough and took the time to explain to me everything about my pituitary tumor. She's patient and truly cares. Would highly recommend her to anyone dealing with a pituitary gland issue.

Dr. Silverstein and all of the doctors are amazing at Washington University! They have helped me through pituitary brain surgery, radiation, endocrine health treatment, neurology, and with my autoimmune diseases. I wouldn't be alive today without them! I highly recommend them to anyone who needs an answer for their health!

I too had to wait 3 months for an appt to see her and have had the same experiences I have read about. I have went to her for a few appts now and feel like she doesn't consider my brain tumor a concern or priority to her. My symptoms and life is very concerning to me. Your appt last all of 10 min tops with a brief examine. I just like countless other of her patients travel hundreds of miles to see her, just to be dismissive and rude about our experiences with our illnesses. With my experience I would advise to ask your doctor of a local specialist then travel to a great surgeon if need be because her expertise in my experience hasn't been needed. My neurologist has helped me way more than driving to her has. Prayers for everyone.

Dr. Silverstein is incredibly bright, and is also thorough! She is incredibly kind and cares deeply about her patients. I would highly recommend her to my family and friends. She is an expert in her field!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr silverstein, sorry if I wrote her name wrong, I was really scared of my diagnosis but she explained and really set my mind at ease and straight to the point what I needed to know, reading some of these comments it may seem like she is kinda of uncaring, but it's not that at all she is very serious and just focusing on what is going on and moving forward to a plan for your health needs step by step, and I appreciate that, I really did feel she was listening to what I was saying as well reviewing my lab results,mri,notes from previous doctors, physical exam,etc.. but everyone has their own experience, for me it was great! I'm looking for to going back.

Dr. Silverstein has atrocious bed-side skills and she seemed unenthusiastic about our visit. I thought she was rude and dismissive despite needing care for a pituitary tumor. I would not recommend this provider.

Silverstein has been the only Doctor to care about my medical diagnosis. I have been to multiple different doctors around the state of Missouri. She requested several tests to be performed and she is currently treating me with success. My results are getting better with each assessment. I so happy my new primary recommended her. I choose to go to Dr Silverstein over the endo that is 100 miles away, which is the closest. Silverstein has treated me with nothing but respect and has proven to be a great Doctor. I recommend her to every person that asks who I go to.
