Awesome experience. After being told by another doctor that there was nothing that could be done for me and had no idea what to do to remedy my issues-didn't seem to care either. Luckily my sister-in-law worked for a bariatric surgeon at the time and that doctor gave me a referral to Dr. Brunt. After reviewing my history and the issues I was currently having, Dr. Brunt knew exactly what needed to be done and explained it to me in terms that were easy to understand. He gave me instructions at my post-op appointment (which I never received after the first surgery 17 years ago) on what to do in order to reduce the risk of a recurrence. I feel very blessed to have been afforded the opportunity to receive medical/surgical care from him.

Dr. Brunt is so great. I had an adrenalectomy to remove a very large mass and it was very scary but I am so grateful he is the one who did it. He was so nice and I can’t say enough about him and his staff and the staff at Barnes. This is including his nurse Mary who was so great with talking to me on the phone and in person and Dr. Laura Lee who saw me at my pre-op appt., then was there during the surgery and came back to see me afterwards as well. Dr. Brunt explained everything so well and made a point to see me before and afterwards and make sure I was ok. I was worried about the scar in my stomach but I amazed at how well it looks after only a month. Barnes and Wash U Med are the places to go if you want the best doctors. I feel so so lucky to have had him for my surgeon.

He was like a life saver/miracle when I had surgery a year ago.. Now I can taste, smell, do not have to use my asthmatic inhalers daily and I only take 1 Prilosec daily. It was like I have a new life not to feel so sickly. This was the 3rd time having surgery for my Barrett's Esophagus and my hiatal hernia

Dr. Brunt was very professional, kind and knowledgeable. He treated me for achalasia. I had laparoscopic Heller Myotomy. Dr Brunt came highly recommended. In fact my Dr said not to let anyone but him preform that surgery. I am glad I did because I feel great. I do not have any of the symptoms I had prior to surgery. I am very grateful!!!
