I waited 4 months to get an appointment with Dr. Wang to check out a suspicious mole. While waiting for my appointment I contracted scabies from one of my patients (I’m a paramedic). At my appointment I asked if the doctor could prescribe me some Permethrin - the standard first line treatment. He stated that since it’s been so long, the “bugs are probably dead by now” - when I showed him fresh bites, he shrugged and prescribed Ivermectin- a 2nd line treatment, AND a steroid cream I specifically told him I’d had a bad reaction to. He started to walk out the door and I asked, “What about the mole?” He said, “Make another appointment. That’s too much for one visit”. The whole appointment lasted six minutes. I left with no help and no answers after 4 months of waiting. If you want a competent and caring doctor - look elsewhere.

Although I am sure he is a great dermatologist for minor acne, he was unable to diagnose my medical issue which caused me 2 months of pain and discomfort before I received the treatment I really needed after getting a second opinion.

Our entire family goes to Dr Wang - everything we expected. We've seen him for acne in our teenagers, mole removals and all skin concerns. My father in law is now under his care as well. Visits are typically on time and efficient getting all our questions answered. We've recommended him to other families too.
