List of Lisa V. Suffian's Reviews
Was not happy with bedside manner at our initial visit and allergy testing. She was short with me when I asked questions and did minimal teaching even though my 8 month old had serious egg and peanut allergies. (We got one handout on reading labels and recs for Benadryl and epipen dosing). Now less than a year later we have been to the ER twice in 10 days with almost daily hives and her office won’t provide any recommendations until our office visit. (We are not over due on follow up.) I’m not sure why we need her as an allergist if we are just told to call our pediatrician? We will be changing physicians.
Dr. Suffian was great with our children. She was kind and patient. She also really listened to what I had to say as the parent. I would highly recommend her!
Horrible bedside manner, and she didn't diagnose my daughter correctly. I have heard good things about other doctors in this practice though.
I’ve gone to Dr. Suffian for 12 uears. She’s wonderful- smart, kind and helpful.
I am very glad we found Dr. Suffian. Not only has she helped tremendously with my daughter's allergies, she also has been a big part in helping with her asthma and EOE. She is very blunt and to the point, which I appreciate. She also personally returns any calls, usually within an hour.
Great staff Incredible doctor Would highly recommend
We love Dr. Suffian. She is very knowledgeable. She is direct, which I’m sure some aren’t fond of...but I find it extremely helpful when it comes to my child’s allergies. I really appreciate that she returns her calls personally.
Uncaring, cold and only concerned about her time. Terrible office staff.
I just called there and their receptionist is beyond rude. This was my first time calling to set up an appt and it was astonishing how brash she was. I have been on both ends of customer service and this was uncalled for.
No Thank You! Where to begin, Dr. Suffian arrived at our door about 45 minutes after our scheduled appointment. "CHECK THE ATTITUDE" at the door would be a great poster to hang on each patient's door. We brought our 1 year old upon recommendation from our pediatrician. Very rude, inconsiderate, seems her credentials may come from an online course. No customer relations at all. The whole time she seemed pissed we we're paying her to do the shitty job she provided. Any question we asked her was then deferred to our pediatrician, we asked about specific food related allergies, which she would give one answer on and then again tell us to refer to our pediatrician and contradict herself. We gained no real medical advice after our visit, the whole point was to attain some insight further into our 1 year olds diet since his nutrition is so restricted at this point. After speaking about dairy choices she recommended I give my 1 year old boy soy milk...last time I checked Soy in general is horrible for men due to the high plant estrogen in it. So that's what I asked and she became defensive, then proceeded to tell us we may have altered the test after they pricked him. Following more questioning about dairy products she then told us to consult our pediatrician again... This was an overall waste of time & money, I mean it was like we paid to listen to someone act like they knew what they're doing and spout out some blase blah. No help in any way shape or form. Customer service is lacking immensely. After blaming us for their test not going correctly we figured out this person is incompetent and if paid on performance/ results would not have a job. As well she then denied all of the knowledge granted to us by our pediatrician who referred her in the first place. HAHAHA WOW....Good times, don't go here or suffer the pain and agony of the above description

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
