I almost lost my toe in a lawnmower accident and I can't ever thank Dr. Geistler enough for the immaculate surgery he performed on me to save my toe/foot! I have full function of my foot and besides a scar and ptsd when even thinking about mowing my lawn again (LOL) I have recovered 100% and my toe nail is even starting to look normal again! He was angel sent to me!!! Thank you Dr. Greistler for being you, because you truly are a special person to me!!!

I have been patient of both Dr. Abdo (most of time) and Dr. Geistler (when Abdo is unavailable) - both are awesome Podiatrists.

Dr. Geisler came into my room at St. Anthony's hospital and figured out what was causing my cellulitis, operated on my foot, and removed the infected bone. Great job.

Lack of compassion & business sense. After an initial visit and 3 weeks of following Dr. Shields advice, I anxiously returned for the follow-up appointment to assess my condition. I was told by the receptionist that my insurance used for the 1st visit was no longer accepted; I would have to pay out-of-pocket for the visit, as well as any associated injections, treatment, or X-rays/etc. I'm a former patient and used to respect and like her ! She could have met with me to discuss options.

Dr Shields Is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever seen. She explained everything thoroughly, takes time to listen to you, answers all your questions and gives you options. Her attitude towards the patient is kind and respectful .

Dr. Shields is delightful. I came to her for repair of a hammer-toe on my right foot. She diagnosed the issue, recommended a treatment plan, and performed surgery on the toe that was causing me such problems. The surgery was perfect and was just as she described. The aftercare she provided was spot-on---easy to understand instructions, appropriate pain control, and a good motivating demeanor to help see it through. She is professional and a class act.

went to Dr. Shields and had toe surgery in December. She said in pre-op that she would do three proceedures but only did two. When I went back in 4 months she said I would need another surgery, the one she decided not to do the first time. After 8 months of wearing Birkenstocks to let the toes heal I am worse off then when I started.

went to Dr. Shields in Dec. for toe surgery, she did not do all the surgery mentioned ahead of time and then told me after 4 months I will need another surgery, the one that she did not do during the first surgery. After wearing nothing but Burkenstocks for 8 months for the surgery to heal I am worse off then I was before.
