I went to see Dr. Sweeney for shoulder and bicept pain. I had pain and weakness in the bicept; but, it escalated to being unable to stretch my arm straight to the right, I could not lift a pitcher or skillet, and I could no longer sleep on my right side without pain. He recommended based on the MRI an injection for inflammation and therapy for a while. I have a long history with volleyball; however, my new activity is pickleball. My right arm has taken thousands and thousands of swings over my 59 years. Dr. Sweeney was easy to get a quick appointment with and when he ordered an x Ray and MRI, I was able to get it done that same day at orthopedic associates. Dr. Sweeney is very personable, professional and knowledgeable of the shoulder and elbow. I hope I don't have to go back for surgery, but; he will be my first call if problems arise in the future.

Dr Sweeney care and concern for me as his patience was well over a 5 star; more like 10 stars. His compassion and empathy for me and my circumstance really eased my stress level. Notwithstanding his outstanding knowledge and experience with rotator cuff injuries. I would highly recommend Dr. Patrick Sweeney.

The scheduling staff was amazing and found they got me an appointment right away. Dr. Sweeney was professional, transparent (took the time to explain his recommendations and procedures) and he wasn’t rushing to the next patient. I left understanding what is ahead to recover from my issue and my experience was great. Highly recommend!

My appointment for multiple fractures in my humerus bone lasted maybe 5 minutes. He answered no qustions nor addressed any of my concerns....he seemed like he could have cared less. On top of that he ordered a CT SCAN, I got that done the next day (Thursday 9/15)......I still have not received a call back about the results. Obviously I have switched Dr's. 9/25 I am updating my previous review on the basis that Dr. Sweeney called to apologize Friday. There was a miscommunication about where I went for my CT SCAN.....Dr. Sweeney thought I went to Missouri Baptist Hospital but my insurance coverage was at another hospital so his office staff scheduled me at the facility my insurance would cover. I'm not completely certain why Dr. Sweeney couldn't see that information in my chart but I am changing his review slightly because he did call to apologize. Accountability and apologies go a long way in my book. I have no doubt he is well deserving of his 5 star ratings. We had a miscommunication, it happens. However I am choosing to stay with my current orthopedic Dr.
