Please don’t listen to the one star haters. Being a specialist like Dr Gotti is not an exact science. The gentleman who was mad because Dr wanted to send his wife home on pic-line prior to getting cultures back; cultures need time to grow to be able to see what type of meds were needed. How would you have felt if you didn’t get the best course of antibiotics for the type of infection she had. Imagine while waiting for cultures and your refusal of a pic-line your wife could of broken out into a full blown body smashing infection and God forbid your wife succumbed to the infection; your gonna be like why didn’t we get antibiotics sooner. Dr Gotti is an awesome infectious disease Dr and when I need to see her I drive 2 1/2 hours to get some of that awesomeness. Antibiotics only treat certain infections, that’s why there so many different ones. I believe in her she saved my lie with her knowledge and wisdom. She obviously thought it was possible your wife was really sick. By all means you can ask for a second opinion, but don’t be mad when the next Dr says the same thing.

Not impressed with this Doctor at all. She was trying to send my wife home on IV antibiotics for 2 weeks when it was totally not needed. She ordered this before she even got the culture lab back to see if she needed it. Turns out my wife could go home on oral anitbiotics which were the EXACT SAME THING. The oral anitbiotics were $10, the IV antibiotics that my wife would have been sent home with would have been thousands of dollars!!! Not to mention having a pic line needle in your arm for 2 weeks and doing the IV every 6 hours. It was so NOT needed. For Dr. Gotti to order IV antibiotics sent home with a patient before looking at the lab cultures is the red flag that she is on a money grab and profiting off of her patients while they suffer the consequences. The word "money grab" was used by hospital employees when referring to this doctor and talked about other situations where the same thing happened with her.

90 minute wait,not enough seating in wait room,unprepared for patient, poor time management, I wouldn't trust with my loved one. Shoved papers upon leaving with no explanation. They were just trying to catch up from being behind. Dr. Didn't say anything significant since she didn't know patient was a new patient. Total waste of my time and copay. Ill look for someone else.
