Robert Swarm's Online Review Report Card

Dr Swarms talks me through the injection putting my mind at ease. The shots for the last 15 years have all gave me relief. Thank you so much Dr Swarm and staff. I did have a different doctor from Belleville give me a shot, my blood pressure spiked to around 220/90 i walk out of his office very worried and nervous.

I think Dr. Swarm is an excellent doctor & he listens to everything you tell him about yourself & he helps you out as much as possible.

Chronic pain is such a complex & difficult health issue especially during these times.Dr. Swarm always takes time to answer all your questions & problems. One of the most caring & intelligent Dr.s I have ever met.His program is well rounded & includes PT,Psychologists & other Health Care workers who specialize in treating chronic pain.

I wish I could share that he took away my pain, but EVERY appointment that was scheduled with him turned out to be an appointment with his PA. She’s amazing, but she cannot give injections or prescribe medications. I won’t go into a huge diatribe about his lack of concern or ethics, but I suggest (if you have patience in waiting a few months for an appointment) you see if you have better luck.

I absolutely love Dr. Swarm. I've been seeing him for well over 10years and since the day I've met Dr. Swarm we have been tackling my health issues together!!! I will honestly say Dr. Swarm listens when you talk to him and that's one of the first things I love about him. I like all the staff in the office their so nice!!! Great environment!!! 💜💜💜

On May 24, 2018; Dr. Swarm performed a botched surgery on my Mother, Tammy Nadeau. She was suppose to receive a pain pump to alleviate pain. Dr. Swarm, during surgery, punctured her spinal cord. For 3 days after surgery, my Mother was unable to walk or even use the bathroom. Her abdomen filled with fluid. Concerned we demanded answers. Dr. Swarm finally came to my mother's room and he explained that he "screwed up". He stated that he only went in to her intercostal space 2x and the MRI showed that he had punctured her spinal cord. Have that on video. Funny, medical records show that he went in FOUR TIMES. Medical records even showed how he tried editing both the surgical report and the MRI report to reflect that she did not have a spinal cord injury. Multiple videos with not only Dr. Swarm admitting she had a spinal cord injury but also other doctors stating that "this side effect and that side effect was due to the spinal cord injury from surgery". My Mother WALKED in to that hospital....but never walked out. For nearly 6 months after surgery, she was in excruciating pain. The staff at the hospital failed to.turn and reposition her which caused her to have a pressure ulcer. Exactly 6 months from the day of surgery (October 24, 2018), I brought my Mom home on hospice after the infection from the bed wound went down to her bone (osteomyilitis), and her lungs and abdomen kept filling up with fluid despite multiple drainings. My Mother passed away November 3, 2018. Dr. Swarm, you will never truly know what you have taken from us. You will never know how.much you have negatively impacted my family. You had the audacity to lie...LIE to my Mother's face about how many times you entered her spinal canal. You paralyzed a patient and then proceeded to cover it up by editing medical records. Trust me. I have the unedited versions. I've contacted Joint Commisions and the medical review board for physicians. And not only a full investigation on your conduct regarding editing medical records but also on your competency during surgery that ended with catastrophic results. Although I believe "accidents to happen", I also believe in being HONEST enough to admit the WHOLE truth to your patient as well as not editing medical records. That, Sir, is where you become dishonest. And a disgrace to the medical community. People put their trust in medical professionals to do their best. I would ask you if you did your best with Tammy Nadeau (my Mother); but also realize that you have already been proven a liar not once but twice so do not expect an honest answer. Do not trust your loved one or even your enemy with this doctor.
