You can only reach someone at this office by leaving a voice mail message. You will be lucky if someone calls you back in 24 hours. If you have a deductible with your insurance, this office requires full payment up front. I was given less than a 2 hour notice prior to my 2nd appointment that my payment for that day’s visit would be over $600. When I asked if I could be billed for any portion of it, I was told, “no, but I was welcome to reschedule my appointment.” I kept the appointment and upon my arrival they required the payment at check in and not upon my departure which is when I paid just days earlier during another appointment. Due to the doctor’s schedule, it took me 2 weeks to get the results of my initial exam and additional testing. It took over a 1/2 of dozen calls and voicemail message before someone provided my results to me. Results that some patients from other offices receive as quickly as within the same day. Everyone in the office were fairly pleasant but for me pleasantries do not supersede patient responsiveness and thoughtfulness. I felt collecting my payment was the one thing they made a priority but not me and not relaying to me my results.

First visit I felt as if I’d known her forever! She’s great!

Dr. Wood is entirely professional, I felt confident going through this very personal process with her and her staff.

I saw Dr Sara Wood at St Anthony’s Medical Center which is now Mercy South in 2013 because of pain from my vaginal mesh! Actually she was the 3rd opinion I got! She says to me, “Doctors r territorial, u need to go back to Dr Veronkis if he put in the mesh!!” So not sure how she was partners with Veronikis in 2012 unless partners r in two different locations!!

All I can say is how blessed I am that Dr Wood was recommended to me. One is always hesitant about surgery, but Dr. Wood took the time to answer all of my questions and explained the surgery were I could understand what was going to happen. Her staff was nothing but professional and kind. Dr. Wood changed my life. My only regret was not doing it sooner. Thank you Dr Wood for all you do to help women get their lives back. Kudos to you and you staff.

All i have to say is how blessed i am to have been sent to see Dr. Wood, my situation was not good.. altered my way of life and very discomforting. Dr Wood made my husband and i very comfortable and took the time to answer all our questions and concerns no matter how long it took and didn't make us feel as if she was ready to be on her way to her next appointment. The day of surgery i was quite nervous as i was having extensive work done and i was made comfortable and at ease, IM FIXED....

Dr Wood made an accurate and immediate diagnosis of a previously misdiagnosed prolapse. She was compassionate, courteous, and made me feel very comfortable. She arranged her schedule to fit in an urgent surgery.

Absolutely love Dr. Wood. She cares. The staff was always prompt in responding to my needs.

Dr. Wood is a brilliantly talented skilled surgeon who demonstrates genuine care and totally focused on best outcome for her patients. GOD BLESS her. Dr. Wood did a complete vaginal hysterectomy and I am doing fantastically. Any women considering a hysterectomy should consult with Dr. Wood.

Each step along the way Dr. Wood listened to me and allowed me to really understand what my prolapse meant. I was unsure about surgery before going to my first appointment, but the time she took to explain everything to me made it seem like a simple decision. And I am so glad I made it! My surgery went well and recovery was so much easier than previous surgeries. The office staff really cares as well, and I am grateful for all their help. Without a doubt, see Dr. Wood!! I have recommended my mother and sister to her along with all my friends!
