There is nothing Scarier than hearing the words you have cancer. I didn’t know what my next step was all I can tell you the Dr.Puram walked me through my options, what to expect and everything in between. He made me feel comfortable and made sure I completely understood what my steps would be. I can guarantee you that Dr. Puram saved my life and I will be forever grateful ! Dr Puram discovered and successfully removed numerous cancer cells he found in my neck, lymph nodes, tongue and tonsils . He called me several times at home himself to discuss my results and offer me options on my treatment. I trusted Dr Puram from my very first visit and that trust was well earned. I consider him not only as my doctor but as a friend .

I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma in September 2021. The day I found out I felt devastated. My wife and I spent the next two weeks researching worst case scenarios. That is until we met Dr. Puram. From the moment my ENT (Dr Ryan George) referred me to Dr. Puram things started looking up. Dr. George said if he had a family member with my condition there was no one in the world he’d rather have them see. This was echoed over and over when we read Dr. Puram’s online reviews. From the moment Dr. Puram walked in the room we felt an instant sense of relief and comfort. My surgery was at 7 am and Dr Puram told me that his interns would be by to see me at the end of their surgeries. To our surprise, Dr Puram showed up after 8pm to check in and make sure I was doing okay. His bedside manner is beyond caring and professional. As for the process and treatment, Dr. Puram laid out a roadmap of what to expect and it played out like clockwork. He told me days 4-10 (post surgery) would be the worst and that around day 14 I would feel like I was turning a corner. My wife and I were amazed at how accurate he was and felt like we knew just what to expect and when. Today, I saw Dr. Puram again and received the results of my first CT scan since my treatments. Just as before, Dr. Puram was thorough with what to expect going forward. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am that we found Dr. Puram and his team!

This is my sister, ringing the bell after completing her treatment. Dr. Puram was an absolute god send. From the first time he walked into her room, and still for every follow up appointment, Dr. Puram has been nothing short of amazing. His knowledge, compassion, and dedication are stellar. He took time to meet with our family (and there are a lot of us) and explained in terms we could understand (not the long difficult to pronounce medical terms), exactly what kind of cancer my sister had, but treatment options, expected recovery time, and what would happen throughout her life. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Dr. Puram for allowing me more like with my sister.

I highly recommend Dr. Puram. He is one of my favorite doctors I’ve ever had. He takes the time to explain procedures, talk about test results, and listens to and addresses concerns. He has a great bedside manner too.

Dr. Peram is one of the best Doctors I have ever had. I was diagnosed with throat cancer over a year ago. Him and the the team at BJC determined my path of treatment and quickly implemented the process. He has always been caring and attentive to me and my wife on every visit. He gives you his full attention! Even after a year out of treatment he is the same way. I would recommend him to anyone. He cares about me and my quality of life after surgery and radiation treatments, answers all my questions weather they are in person or on email. He's the best, Thank You Dr. Peram for everything you have done.

I was diagnosed with squamish cancer in Springfield Missouri the last week of March. I was referred to dr. puram he did a cat scan on Monday April 5th. Had a huge tumor in the right side of my face. I then saw dr. Puram in his office. He set up every one and everything necessary immediately and had surgery the following Tuesday April 13th at 7 am at the barnes Jewish hospital. 12hr surgery with dr. Durakovic assisting saved my life and did an awesome job inside and out. His knowledge expertise and concern is unbelievably over the top !😁 I truly am blessed. Thank you so very much!

Dr Sidharth Puram is absolutely incredible! He saved my life! I went to an Illinois hospital and got an ultrasound done and they were in no hurry to do anything about it. They told me I would have to wait for a referral if I wanted to go to Siteman Center for Advanced Medicine in St. Louis Missouri. I was referred to Dr Puram by a patients relative. So, I called his office and drove my ultrasound disc to his office immediately. They called me right back when I got home and set up a new ultrasound, biopsies and surgery immediately. Dr Puram spoke to my entire family to explain the diagnosis and what the cure would be. He is very personable and his whole entire staff are absolutely wonderful! I would refer Dr Sidharth Puram to the whole world!!! I am so thankful for having him as my surgeon! ❤️

Post 4 weeks surgery, I developed a concern about my graft site. Through My Portal, I sent a photo. Within a few hours, I received a response from Kristin and an appointment the following day. Dr Puram was kind, reassuring and with patience, detailed my future progress. Everyone connected with this office are special…Especially Dr. Puram.
