This place is a joke. We’ve been through a pandemic. I’ve had to switch careers going from working in the casino industry for 11 years to working for the postal service, learning the ins and outs, being trained all over the St. Louis area twice over because I went from a temp city carrier to a rural carrier, sometimes working up to 80 hours/week because we’re so short-staffed. I’ve recently found out that I multiple health issues that require appointments with my primary doctor, a neurologist, a podiatrist, not to mention my regular optometrist and dentist. Because of the pandemic, having everything over the last 18 months pushed back, I often get phone calls from all these various doctors asking me to reschedule my appointments. Dr. Kanungo told me about six months ago that he wanted me to get bloodwork and an ultrasound done as a precautionary. I got the bloodwork done almost right away but forgot about the ultrasound, because I thought they were going to call me to setup an appointment. Only recently, did my wife remind me about the ultrasound, so I contacted their office to let them know I was going to get it done.I had the ultrasound done and scheduled an appointment to get the results, but it turned out that I had to go out of town on a 2-day work/training trip. I came home from delivering mail today to having two letters in the mail from the office stating that they were dropping me. I called to try and clear up what was going on. They said that I missed or cancelled 6 appointments. I only recalled two. “Sherry” wouldn’t even allow me to explain my situation. I’ve never experienced anything like this before. Thanks for caring about patients with health problems when they need you during a pandemic.
