I have been with her for many years and love and respect her. Shes detailed, quiet yet friendly. She keeps me well and I respect her knowledge and concern. I will refer others to her.
Love her, warm, funny and thorough. Highly recommend
Wish I had read the reviews prior to making an appointment, could not get a new patient appointment for like 6 months and then it was a very negative experience, horrible bedside manner, no eye contact, only asked routine questions, did not ask any questions to try and understand my issues, sat with her back to me, overall just rude in all interactions during my appointment, then did reach out to discuss my test results. Will try to find another doctor asap.
I have followed my Dr's from CWE to the Highlands Building...13 yrs!!There's no complaints from me; any questions I have or issues it's answered or explained even with alternatives if you don't know or need to do your own research (if u are a part of ur care too) without any pressure of "this is the only" way to treat, they talk in terms that you can relate with. Being in the medical field is a different set of questions for the Drs from me & I'm not one but, I do prefer other options & when there isn't any, they let that be known too!Great Doctors work here & I'm glad to have the best of the best!!
She seemed not concerned about the reasons for my visit and rushed through it..She asked for a urine sample after I used the restroom..It was just a worthless visit that I really don’t think she should be paid for..I don’t plan on returning
Its crazy when you make it known that you may have a pinched nerve or herniated disc and during early morning call, you cant get in to get looked at so that you can be referred to a doctor that can treat you. I was told instead to go to the ER because she was too busy. Moving to another doctor.
Nvm my last posting. I. Return visits she comes in the room. Does not make eye contact. Sits at her computer with her back to me asking routine questions. Never shakes my hand. Never greets me. Never smiles at me never asks one thing about me or my life. Looks like she's ready to fall asleep and has no interest in me Never says good to see you again. Thanks for coming in. I had some tests run and the radiologist performing the sonogram on my liver gave me more helpful information in 3 minutes than Terrill did in my follow up visit. I would urge you to never go to her. I've had some wonderful caring doctors over the years. She is terrible. No excuse for her treatment of me as a patient. My fault for allowing. It. I am out of there
Dr. Terrell has a very poor bedside manner! She seems very burnt out and does not enjoy what shes doing.
I had an very good experience with Dr. Terrell and thought to post as others seem to not have had such. Perhaps Im more forgiving. I believe Dr. Terrell is more business than pleasure. She is focused and made certain my husband and I (we are new patients and just over 50) were on track with proper exams, tests, etc. Just because you dont get lots of smiles and conversation doesnt mean you are not being properly tended to. My two cents, we will stay with her. We were both satisfied.
I find her laid back. She is thorough but doesnt scare me like some doctors who order a million tests if you have some minor issue. Young doctors tend to do this. I think shes great. The staff was courteous and responsive. As well as fun joking with me. I never have had a long wait. I have always gotten a prompt appointment as needed Im not sure some of these negative reviews saw the dr Terrell I saw??????
A complete waste of time. This doctor has no integrity, nor does her PA.
I wait to see her and all she does is spend 10 minutes typing everything I tell her on her laptop. Its almost as if she doesnt even care about her patients.
I have been a patient of Dr Terrell for over 30 years. She is insightful and a great diagnostician. Office staff are competent and friendly. She makes excellent referrals if your problem is out of her scope of competence and follows your progress even if you are referred. Emergency appointments are easily obtained, usually the same day.
Wait time has never been very long. Bedside manner is what it is. Dr. Terrell is not very warm and fuzzy but she does get down to the business of the day and she gives me a sense that we are going to find out what the problems are. She is very frank and she knows how to navigate through getting her patients what they need with the insurance that they have. I dont like the fact that you might be mailed something adverse regarding your health. Her person that schedules has dropped the ball with me on more than one occasion. If I dont call to inquire about pending test it doesnt get scheduled. I still think very highly of Dr. Terrell and overall she has been very thorough. My only issue as stated above has to do with the individual who schedules tests.
She is a pretty great doctor to our mother. Staff is very kind. But the office wait time to be seen by her is always way past one hour to two and half sitting and waiting in the waiting room. (they should review their scheduling process. ) It is hard to wait that long when youre in your eighties and have walking difficulties. Over all we like her.
This is the worst physician encounter I have ever had. The doctor didnt have any eye contact with me. She didnt care to read my chart, check my marital status, see that I am taking prenatal vitamins, ie: trying to get pregnant. However, she was rude enough to judge that I was careless for not taking any contraceptive measures. She even concluded the visit by telling me not to come unless I have a problem, although family medicine is all about prevention.
This dr is not concerned with her patients. They will not return a call even if you are a medical provider who is affiliated with BJC in order to get information on a patient that they referred the patient to. The staff is rude and very unprofessional. You have to wait for over an hour to see the doctor. I actually had other family members who went to this physicaian and found out later that they also stop seeing her because she has such a bad bedside manner, they refused to go back. Well, it is true and for you to be a patients primary physicaian and you tell the patient that you do not want to get involved with their care, becuase the specialist wants you to be in on a decision regarding the patient there is something really wrong with that. I dont think she wants to be a doctor, I think she just wants the title.
After blood tests in the office I received a prescription by mail. If I have a medical issue I would have at least expected a phone call. In addition I had tests done at the hospital. Rather than hearing from the doctor who ordered the tests, my OB/GYN followed up with me as I had instructed that this physician also receive the results. I would have been completely in the dark and concerned.
