He's a good Dr. Excellent listening skills and bedside manner. Bad thing is the phone call to make an appt with him. The nurses and staff manning the phones need additional training on how to treat patients. The nurses and staff at the office are excellent! My husband and I have been going to the steelville clinic for 16 years, long before Dr Maynard took over. We are very satisfied.

This man's failure to diagnose my child almost killed my child. He allowed a child with a known heart condition to go undiagnosed and because of this the child developed endocarditis and required open heart surgery. This man told me that he did not do blood and urine tests on my child because they were expensive and since the child's father had been laid off 3 mos. earlier, he was just trying to save some money. Greed, laziness, and incompetency have NO business in the medical profession. I can't believe that he is still allowed to practice, let alone still in this town. No one should trust him with more than the common cold!
