List of Anna B. Fraser's Reviews
Negligent is the nicest way I can describe this doctor. My organs were rupturing and I was bleeding internally cyclically to be told I was too young for a hysterectomy because I might meet a man who wanted a baby one day. Never mind the tubal I had at 21 and an ablation she herself performed. I asked for a referral to get a second opinion and was sent to another doctor in her office who just happened to have the same opinion. I wish I could somehow get back all this doctor took from me, my children, and my family by refusing actual medical care, but here I am, leaving negative reviews in hopes someone like me sees so they can avoid her at all costs.
It turns out my pain was very real, this doctor is just uneducated, and my quality of life was not her main concern, preserving my ability to reproduce was. The doctor who ended up saving my life after years of medical neglect from Dr. Fraser and her staff told me (after he performed my hysterectomy) I needed to march into her office and let her know that doctors like her are the reason people like me don't survive diseases like the one I have. I didn't end up doing so, because the things she said at my last appointment left me unable to ever speak another word to her. It's taken me over two years to write this review, and I still shake when I think about all she put me through. Also, endometriosis can't be definitively diagnosed/ruled out with an ultrasound, as I now know. If you're one of the 1 in 10, DO NOT see this doctor.
Wish I could give a lower rating. For some insight, I was a scared 22 year-old virgin that was at my first ever gynecologist appt in my life because I have never grown up with a female figure that I ever felt comfortable to talk to about this stuff. Went in with complaints regarding itching, and I had had a couple of bartholin's cysts or bumps that were irritating. Went in and when I went to explain this to the assistant, she immediately cut me off and stated that it's impossible to have more than one Bartholin's cyst at a time and shamed me for not having a checkup sooner relating to the itching. I felt discouraged but not entirely upset. Then, they recommended, with the knowledge that I was a virgin, that a pap smear was highly recommended, along with a manual exam. I was okay with the manual exam but when it came time for the pap smear, it was VERY painful, I cried and grit my teeth through it, but Dr. Fraser quit when I asked, which was good at least; but then when I remarked that being married was going to suck, her response was "Yeah." Horrible bedside manner, I felt like I wasn't even a person and felt insulted and traumatized by the time I was done with the exam, and had more questions about my health than answers when I walked out. Overall extremely unprofessional, no doctor to patient empathy or understanding. So no, I would not recommend this OBGYN and this experience has scarred me from going back to one.

I stopped getting exams about 10 years ago after two different doctors became frustrated and classified me as a "difficult" exam. Dr. Fraser and her nurse listened to my concerns and were extremely considerate and understanding. Dr. Fraser was able to complete the exam with minimal physical discomfort and no emotional trauma. Thank you to both of them for caring and easing my uncomfortable situation.
Amazing, compassionate woman!
I saw Dr. Fraser a few months ago for the first time and she went above and beyond the last ob/gyn I saw. She took the time to answer any questions I had before she even started the exam and when I questioned birth control to help cut me some slack on painful periods, she explained all of the possible side effects and what I could do to minimize them and after the exam, went over all the options for birth control with me. She talked to me as a person, even during the exam and made me feel comfortable the entire time.
I had my first appointment with Dr. Fraser this morning and I am blown away by the difference between her and the last ob/gyn I went to. Dr. Fraser is amazing. She has a very relaxing personality, made me feel extremely comfortable. She spent time with me, answered all of my questions in depth and never once did I feel like she was worried about getting out of there or that she was blowing off my questions (like the last physician I went to). I would definitely recommend her.
Wanted a second opinion and she was not at all helpful!!
She is amazing, and efficent while being easy to be with.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
