List of Ayumi Ludwig's Reviews
I waited in the ER for HOURS on end. There were people that were obviously mentally unwell and cussing at other patients. The staff completely ignored him and let him go on to talk about knocking people out and causing large disturbances. Several security guards passed and not a word was said. I have had my vitals checked twice since getting here and it seems they haven’t called anyone back in over an hour. I had severe symptoms of a kidney infection and elevated liver enzymes, yet there was no urgency to get anything done.
Was transferred here (3rd floor) from a smaller hospital so got to bypass the er. The doctors have been so so but I have to say the nursing staff has been great. They have taken good care of me and Anna is outstanding! Thanks for all you do!
Waited over 7 hrs to be called back to a room. Rude, very! receptionist. Some patients waiting left. Would not inform you of ANY time.. tentative.
Good people
You know I'm from California and even their hospitals move faster then this. The ER seems to have no Doctors but that they would rather wait you out till you just get up and leave. This hospital is trash and if I had the gas I would drive to Branson to Cox.
Waited in MERCY Hospital ER with relative having chest pains with history of heart issues for 4 hours. Had vitals taken once. There were people in the ER waiting to see a doctor for 12 hours. We were told that there was only one RN for the entire ER waiting room with 58 people waiting to be seen in the entire ER waiting room and no one available to process / test blood draws results. People were walking out of ER that should have been admitted, including us. If you are an ER and can't provide a service, then don't operate like you can!
Absolutely Pathetic!!! Took my husband in this last Saturday night. There were only 3 other people waiting in the emergency room when we arrived. Waited over 9 hours and finally gave up and went to another hospital. Got right in there. If you were drunk or doped up on gummies they would take you in immediately. They even had patients coming in after us off the ambulance that had to sit and wait, one older gentleman was having issues with his bladder filling up and no way to empty himself and was in excruciating pain. Told him he would have to just wait. Sickening!! Rude!! Pathetic!! I will NEVER return to this hospital or recommend it to anyone. BEST NOT GET A BILL!
ER waiting room is terrible!! My 80 yr old step dad has been in the waiting room for over 24 hours now because they say they have no rooms available, according to one of the staff the reason no rooms are available is because they don’t have enough staff. One of the nurses was even passing out a pamphlet and telling people to call that number and complain because they are sick of being short staffed too. My step dad was sent by his VA Dr after seeing his results of an EKG, Dr said go straight to ER. I guess Mercy doesn’t think their patients are really sick or don’t care about how long they have to wait as long as they save money by not having enough staff… It’s a sad world when health of a person isn’t priority in a hospital.
My family member has cancer and is going through chemo treatments. Thank God they are getting treatment somewhere else because when she was in town, she had a 103° fever and her treating physician told them to go to the ER for antibiotics. Their physician called and spoke with the ER and they were told that antibiotics were needed to be administered. 5 hours later, they started the process to access the port and connect an iv. They still haven’t pushed the antibiotics! They could have driven home to their regular hospital in 5 hours. Don’t expect urgency here!
This hospital is a joke. I went in on February 6th for a cervical spinal fusion, the nurses and doctors were awesome, but all I heard was complaints by the staff! While in recovery I over heard nurse complaining that they could not get patients to rooms because of how understaffed the floors are! And the more I listened the more upset I became! They were saying that the situation has been going on for months with no end in site! That all floors were critically low on nurses to cover patients but there were ample rooms! But why is it we hear On the news constantly that the hospitals are full of COVID AND FLU PATIENTS! I finally requested to be released to go home and was moved back to a same day suite and again I heard nurses complaining about how understaffed the hospital is and that they can not get traveling nurses to come help because of pay! Well for one patient I will be contacting state resources and filing a complaint and talking to my attorney on this matter because I didn't fill safe staying over night o to nurse shortage! The nurses and doctors again were amazing but come MERCY GET IT TOGETHER AND STOP BEING GREEDY! UPDATE MERCY CONTACTED ME ABOUT MY CONCERNS AND THIS WILL BE IGNORED AND SWEPT UNDER THE RUG! SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION ELSEWHERE! MERCY IS A JOKE AND GOING TO COST LIVES!!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
