Very compassionate, and expert in medicine
Dr. Allam was the hospitalist when I was recently hospitalized for heart aFib. It was my first episode with aFib. I am also in early staging for lung cancer, and the aFib deferred an appt for a biopsy and an appt with the oncologist. The lung cancer is a much bigger issue for me, but Dr. Allam downplayed it and chose not to get my oncologist involved. He did involve a cardiologist, and deferred to ...

Dr. Allam did not provide my father with adequate care in which he often made decisions without sufficiently observing, or checking up on my father. He made a failed decision to take my father off of IV fluids, antibiotics, and oxygen, after only 3.5 days of treatment, because he declared they would not work; this is a decision that he made which deviated from normally followed protocol of 7-10 days of antibiotics, with combined treatment. It is absolutely incredulous that this doctor made any medical decisions regarding my father because he only visited him once a day, for 10 minutes. He made my father’s sepsis a terminal diagnosis without giving his treatment due diligence. As a result, my 80 year old father was left to suffer, for multiple days, because Dr. Allam’s medical opinion lacking empirical support. Furthermore, he wanted to discharge my comatose, dying father without justification, or cause. Do not trust this doctor to provide adequate care.
Took excellent care of my mother

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
