Dr. Parrish is not only knowledgeable, but he listens. Actually takes time to listen. He then discusses treatment options in detail and shares the latest studies and consensus. Then WE agree on the best course of action. I can highly recommend him to anyone looking for a personable and professional physician who stays up to date on everything pertaining to optimal health.

My friend went to see him and he said he would not treat her because she was in pain he was rude to her and sent her home I thought doctors were supposed to help people

Brilliant and very caring doctor.

Dr. Parrish has cared for our family since our children were young. They are now all married and take their children to see him. He is a trustworthy and an outstanding physician! We highly recommend him, because we have never found one more talented, balanced, effective or altruistic.

I’ve been going to Dr. Parish for a few years now. He is experienced and to the point. He also cares about his patients and goes the extra distance. Also, his staff can usually get you in fairly soon and will make the effort to try and squeeze you in if it’s serious. My old doc used to be overbooked and it would take 2-4 weeks to get in and I found myself going to the more expensive urgent care when I need to see a doc. Not the case here. I definitely recommend him if your looking for a primary care doctor. You’ll be in good hands.

Just an absolute loon. Initially told me anti-depressants were essentially worthless and wouldn't recommend them despite me filling out paperwork talking about suicidal thoughts and being perpetually miserable for no reason. Obviously not a problem to be concerned about! Flash 10 years later, I'm on anti-depressants (and feel *much* better) and my insurance lines me up with him since he's close. My family still goes so I say whatever, okay. My prescription runs out this past month and I try to renew but he just denies it. No message or anything, so I spend a week and a half waiting for nothing while my medication dwindles. He wants you to come in no matter what so he can make a paltry sum and waste your time. Same thing with another family member: takes the same medication for 20+ years, can't refill it unless he comes in every 6 months for a 5 minute visit so this quack can make money. Worst Dr. I have ever had. Actually copped an attitude with me in his office because I wouldn't take the crappy pills he was trying to give me for PTSD, from the military, he's not a Psychiatrist!!! I asked him to be referred to a Psychiatrist and he asked me if I even knew one. What the...........this guys a peice of work.......stick to you're specialty.......and let the therapists do there job!!!!!! You are not all knowing. Next time you have a patient in your office with PTSD you might want to be mindful of how you talk to them......I just walked out and fired you..... .the next time you might not get so lucky!!!!

*Most arrogant man I have ever met. Far less concerned about the person than what he "thinks" he knows walking into a room with a file. *I was on trial as a new patient, needing to prove what other Drs have done. * Less then 5 mins in he disagreed with a weeks worth of Mayo Clinics findings. * kept asking me for #s from labs and b/p and when put on the spot , and I couldnt give them - I had no "evidence " . * Told me my problem was the meds Cardiologist, Neurologist , and Mayo had me on. (Drs who have done this with me for yrs.) It's just "side effects " my labs were fine. - Hey Doc... labs are fine cause I take the med, and work my butt off at the gym. I dont fast my meds for your labs in that file. * I dont know why he thought I was there. But he treated me like 1) I was seeking meds. 2) I was crazy. In fact- when I said I was in Therapy (Physical Therapy) he implied it was good I was getting help! Not understanding I was talking physical Not Mental!!! My favorite quote was in reference to other Drs I've seen including Mayo! "I'm to intelligent to convince myself of something without evidence." (Are you for real?) Well Dr. In the words of Mayo... "Just because it doesn't have a lab workup or a label means Nothing. Once upon a time we didnt know what the flu was, a autoimmune , or Alzheimer's. We still dont know all there is. And we sure dont have all the answers." Said to me at my first appointment at Mayo. *AND that's Why they Are the best in the World, and you work in Spfld Mo. Sincerely You Failed a Real Patient.
