List of Boyd David Crockett's Reviews
When I end up in Dr Crockett's office much of the time it's because I'm in bad shape, extreme pain and have exhausted all other avenues. He has never failed to provide proper care and relief for me. And for that I am very grateful to him. I initially went to him for hip pain. He examined & treated me with utmost care. He also sent me to physical therapy for additonal help and to learn some exercise techiques that have been so helpful. Recently it was back, thigh, hip, knee & calf pain. He immediately provided proper care & ordered physical therapy. Tomorrow I will see him for a follow up appoinment and know that I can depend on him for excellent follow up care & advice for future care of my issues. T. Brewer
I have been seeing Dr. Crockett for the past 2 month for back pain. And I feel it necessary to share my experience. He has been fantastic in giving his honest medical opinion. Providing as much information as possible to aide in the progression of my treatment. Most recently in the course of my treatment Dr. Crockett provided ESI injections of which I have felt no pain nor discomfort as he has delivered them with care and a degree of professionalism only seen from a physician of his caliber. I truly would recommend this physician to anyone who might be having any musculoskeletal issues and is looking for a solution in the realm of non surgical modalities.
I have been to Dr Crockett for back, shoulder and knee pain. He is very pleasant to deal with and very thorough. I will continue to be a patient for all future joint issues
After a year dealing with a pain clinic and just having to schedule more useless appts, I just saw Dr Crockett in a week after my GP send them my request. I found out from him besides the raging arthritis poking on nerve endings I also had two vertebrae that were 1/2 slipped. ( An MRI and so many X-rays I glowed, the other place never told me that) any how he was so nice! And now I have appt for nerve ablation in 1 week. Good bedside manner, caring and efficient THIS is how Dr’s should act!!!!!!
At first, he seemed interested in trying to figure out what was wrong with my neck after the previous doctor couldn't. I was in severe pain, lost sensation in my right arm, electric shocks down my arms, etc. I called his office and spoke with his nurse. I expressed to her that I was in such horrible pain, I was scared, new symptoms were developing almost on a daily basis now, etc. I had an upset tone in my voice because of the amount of pain I was in and how scared I was. She wrote me off and told me there was nothing they could do and that I would have to wait until my appointment the next week. 2 days later I got a phone call saying that I was being fired for being mean to his nurse and " questioning their ability to treat". Most unprofessional doctor and nurse I have ever dealt with in my life. I feel like he realized I wasn't a simple case and wrote me off because he didn't want to take the time to dig deep and figure out what was actually going on. DO NOT go to this doctor!!
The receptionist was very friendly. His nurse was very caring and Friendly. The Doctor was a caring man and took very good care of my knee. This was the second knee that he took care of for me. I had a series of three shot to build up the meniscus in my knee. I would recommend Dr. Crockett to everyone . He is a true caring and knowledgeable Doctor. All the people in this office I came in contact were very friendly and helpful.
At first I really liked him. He got to the root of my problem and I had an injection in my back for horrible siatic nerve pain. After 4 months it came back. I basically had to beg for any pain pills, he will only give me one month of gabopentin at a time (not a narcotic). Injections were denied again, surgery was denied because I'm overweight, and I'm basically miserable with no relief in sight. I feel like he has basically given up on helping me. When I had an appointment he tried to leave the room as soon as possible without answering my questions. I can't walk more than 20 feet without my leg going numb and experiencing agonizing pain. I can't stand longer than a couple minutes without my leg going weak and almost falling. My last appointment was basically me crying and him saying "sorry about this". I contacted my PCP today and am getting a reference to a different orthopedic doctor in hopes they can help me. If you have a simple problem I'm sure he is great, but when the problem doesn't go away or gets worse he gives up and doesn't care.
I don't understand the two negative reviews. This Dr has helped me more than any other Dr. In fact he was the 13th Dr I went to and he found what they all missed. I don't believe he is big on pills. I actually like being fixed rather than drugged. I trust this man and I don't like Doctors at all.
Great Dr, really true to find solutions. Awesome personality and very caring.
I have had severe Knee pain for many years. Finally got recommended to a specialist. Not impressed from the moment he walked into the room. I could tell it was going to be the same song and dance. He did acknowledge my knee was messed up. But other than giving me a little relief he wants physical rehab. I told him I have no issues with using the knee, performed every test he had me try. I just want pain relief. 40 years of knee pain. Guess no more sleep.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
