Brenton Raval Coger's Online Review Report Card

If you are looking for someone who cares seek another doctor and nurse. After surgery i had a major issue a couple of months later and they sent me back to work because they will only do your claim for disability for so many days. You also need to make sure you know before surgery when they are saying you have to go back to work or loose your short term disability pay. Even after having an mri showing that there's something wrong they don't want to give you any restrictions because that's bad for them. You also need to check your records because what they tell you during follow up isn't what they put in your records. So word to the wise if you need help with any back issues that's keeping you from doing your job you're better off finding someone else.

Dr. Coger saved my husbands life. My husband was in a very bad motorcycle accident in the beginning of July. All the other doctors seemed to count him out. He had a TBI and I was given no hope. Dr. Coger came in, talked to me and made me feel like I mattered and so did my husband. He did a craniotomy on my husband, stopped his brain bleeds and removed the clout. He told us the good and the bad. We were prepared as much as we could be in that moment. My husband made a full recovery. He is himself again. He has had no lasting trauma from the injury or the surgery. I could not thank him enough, ever.

He did a wonderful job taking care of my husband after his stroke. We appreciate his knowledge and experience. Thank you!

Very passionate about the care of his patients. Highly recommend coworkers speak well of him. He explained the procedure and answered questions.

Please don't waste your time with this Dr. He will operate..but even life threatening condition wasn't important enough to do as an emergency surgery. Once he does operate you will NEVER hear from him or see him again..only his staff and they are rude with zero compassion

Please seek second opinion before having anything done because once he operates on you, you will never be able to talk to him...just his staff and they are just there to do a job. They have no compassion and could care less about your concerns

I am Grateful for being referred to Dr. Coger. He is everything I was looking for in a Neurosurgeon; Knowledgeable, forthcoming , a skilled professional . Thanks

I would not recommend this office. I had one surgery from Dr. Coger, which took months to get done. I now need another surgery and after sending me to Pain Mgmt for SI injections, which only slightly helped, he now tells me he "doesn't want to operate on me again". I've never had a doctor tell me that, and he also said he "didn't like me"! I did not give him an EXCELLENT mark on my survey back in 2017, and I guess he's used to getting that. I do believe him to be an excellent surgeon, but it takes forever to get it done. Also, his nurses don't usually treat me well, or his Nurse practitioner, and they had mentioned to me about him being upset with me not being happy with the entire procedure the first time I had surgery with him. I left that office last week for the last time, and cried all the way home. Thankfully I have great support people to help me get past this. I am happy that my prior surgery went well and left me pain free. I just wish he could have put his personal feeling aside and helped me again. Now I start over with a new physician and must travel to Columbia, from Lebanon, to get one who does SI fusions. Praying I get in soon, and also praying Dr. Coger treats others better.

Cant describ into words how disappointed I am with this Dr. After 2 MRI's in the last 3 years, 10 years of horrible back and leg pain, he still says there's nothing that can be done for me! The last mri shows a finger size herniation that presses against my nerves. Instead of removing the bulge that will not go away, just more drugs! Sick of being in pain and on drugs. Been thru all the Injections, therapy, exercise everyday and in great health!!! My guess is I'm not hitting his criteria that I need to be in a wheelchair or Walker. If I dont get help soon, I'll be in that walker or wheelchair.... dont waste your time or money with this Dr. Normally I have nothing but kind words to say about all people but this makes no sense why he refuses to help me when I have 2 other doctors outside of my insurance network that says I should have been helped 3 years ago! I'm done with this....beware.

He was kind but after my back surgery I’m worse off than I was before he operated on me. I was left with scar tissue wrapped around my sciatic nerve! And to top it off.... he wouldn’t go back in and fix it. So now I limp all the time and am in constant severe pain. Before my surgery the disc he took out would rub up against my sciatic nerve every few days and sometimes just a couple times a week. The pain when it did because it would inflame was sever. So no more disc, left with scar tissue ????
