This doctor has refused to remove a screw and plate in my jaw put there by him in 2001.
Hi there
I encountered Dr Cornella in 1996 at Emory Hospital when I was dealing with a reoccurrence of tongue cancer. It is because of this man and his exceptional work that I am alive today and even able to speak reasonably well. I owe this man my life and gratitude. I have not seen him since the surgery but think of him often.
Molar extraction completed flawlessly and no-post extraction problems.
A broken molar extraction was performed flawlessly with no pain during or after the procedure. I was treated with courtesy and professionalism from check-in to procedure time. My regular dentist did not want to extract the molar due to the extent of the fracture. He recommended Dr. Cornella and I am glad he did. Dr. Cornella displayed a mastery of his trade and I recommend him to anybody seeking the services of a dental professional. Springfield, Missouri is lucky that he plies his trade here.
I read these comments and wonder who they are referring to. I have gotten nothing but quality care and I have been treated with respect each time I have been there. I don't have insurance and they have always done everything to keep costs down. I love the staff and appreciate the fact that I am not paying for a huge salt water aquarium for the office as well as other frivolous expenditures. Dr. Cornella is the best.
I had to have my tooth under a cap pulled out. There wasn't much of the tooth left, They gave me the choice of nitrous gas or I could of been knocked out. I payed for the gas but I'm sure glad I did! Because he was able to pull it right out. NO stitches, just a piece of gauze and I was headed home! I should of done it without gas because it took him a minute to get it out! He knows how to do shots that don't HURT! HE is my kind of Oral Surgeon. The girls were VERY FRIENDLEY TOO!! So NOW..... Back to see him for bridge work! I have to almost drive 3hours
I will not recommend Dr. Cornella. The office staff hung up on me several times when trying to discuss the billing. The doctor was rude to my daughter when she went for her first consultation with him. The office staff scheduled my son for dental extraction and he ended up with a $430 bill because they did not clarify sedation prior to him having the procedure.
My son scheduled wisdom teeth extractions and paid his 20% required prior to scheduling. He ended up getting $430 bill because insurance did not cover the sedation. When trying to discuss this with the billing dept, they were rude and condescending. When I called to discuss it, they hung up on me. It was very disappointing to entrust your care to a dental office only for them to not care whether everything would be covered. They are very rude!
My son ended up with a $430 bill for anesthesia because they didn't pre-auth the procedure. He asked specifically for the cheapest anesthesia. We have tried multiple times to discuss this with the office. They spoke condescendingly to my son. They hung up on me. The doctor was rude to my daughter when she went for a consultation. I will seek out another provider for her wisdom teeth extractions. They were rude!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
