Do not feel their response was adequate I had a procedure 3 days ago still waiting for my results leave message no answer very frustrating

Daughter nearly lost her life in a canoe accident. Everybody from Cox Ambulance to the ER to the doctors were amazing. We are from out of town, so obviously insurance was "out of network". CoxHealth chose to accept our out of network insurance's payment and the out of network insurances contractual amount on 3 of the 4 bills, but on the 4th bill, did not leaving my daughter to pay over $10,000. When I called CoxHealth, they stated that that is a common practice to not accept an out of network insurance's contractual allowance, instead sticking the patient with the entire bill. I agree completely to the charge my insurance says we should owe, but the provider does not care about people using out of network insurance.

The E.R. Staff especially Heather Maring..I don’t appreciate the blatant disrespect and everything from her. She picks and chooses who what when where and how thinking people don’t read their charts. Well guess what Mary! As a nurse I’m sure the board, the bbb and social media will loves this!!!

After being seen in Mercy's ER 3 times in 2 weeks, given fluids and sent home (they could have cared less) I went to Cox the 4th time. Boy am I glad I did! I had been having bloody diarrhea and nausea for several weeks and was in critical shape. As soon as I arrived at Cox they were on it. I was admitted almost immediately. They literally saved my life. I am so thankful to the staff that tended to me! Thank you!!

My wife was brought to the emergency room on the 14th at around 1am for a concussion related seizure she had at her home. According to my wife and her sister ( whom was with her all the time ) the staff and doctors were utterly rude and truly sympathetic P.O.S. , that never gave two shits about her at all. They started out giving her a CT scan and a MRI , and I won't go into details about how pushy and rude they treated her on here but I will say they didn't care bout her need to heed the call of nature. Then when it came to her breakfast time they had her on a normal diet ( it's stated in her files she's diabetic) and proceeded to pretty much force her to have super sweetened apple juice. I called up there and was told her respiratory system was lacking and she'd need to be admitted, to which I said no that's how she normally breathes with her weight issues. I and her sister finally after several more hours got her released OR. I would never ever recommend anyone and I repeat anyone to ever come to this ER , it's safer to visit a African tribal voodoo doctor then these asshats.

We brought my husband to the ER after he blacked out and lost consciousness. We have been waiting to be called back to an ER room for 8 hours with no indication of when it will actually happen. It should not be this difficult to get medical care and attention! Cox needs to do way better!! This is absolutely outrageous.

Doctor Carr of Anesthesia done an amazing job from first contact to last follow up. I believe Doctor Carr deserves a reward, and recognition for his fantastic work and dedication. Thank you

Great care. Made me feel like I truly mattered. Not just another person. I was really blessed to have been helped by this great staff.

7hrs waiting room. Dirty uncomfortable no water in machine. Just disgusting. Please don’t thank me for my comments, as they will be used to make things better. It won’t and you won’t. Was told I was dehydrated really? That’s not what I was there for. I will never return. The VA is much better. Just Sad.

I'm writing this while sitting in the cardiovascular ICU. Dr. Zolfaghari and his staff are absolutely incredible. He's a solid surgeon and an even better human. Knowing my dad is being worked on by the best heart team in the area means the world to us. The cardiac ICU is full of great people. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. His nurses have been very comforting and informative during this entire process. Thank y'all for giving my dad years more of life and ensuring he's around to see his grandkids continue to grow. When it's game time, this place knows the playbook better than anyone else. A Google review doesn't begin to express our thankfulness and gratitude.
