Stay away from this Dr if at all possible. My sister went in for a colonoscopy. She had to be admitted to the hospital 2 days later with a lacerated spleen! She is in for a long recovery and hopefully no more complication.
My first impression is he is so proud of his own voice and experience that he is incapable of truely listening! I could hardly get a sentence out that he didn't interrupt. He never got a full history from me I was so rushed! He had me "figured out" 30 seconds after he walked in the door because of a ER visit diagnosis from a few days ago but, WOULDN'T (not didn't) gather a hx of 2 decades of issues prior to that ER visit that are what prompted me to make this appointment 2 months ago. He quickly wanted to toss a pain/depression medication at me and make me go away.. half the time lhe was ooking at someone elses chart on the computer while talking to me before he noticed... I overheard him tell the nurses to make my next appointment with the NP instead of him.. I feel highly dismissed and discouraged ??. I dont know who the other options are in this town and Love Mercy Physicians as a whole... this cocky & self important man is the exception to the majority.
I have never considered walking out on a speaking Dr. Before today! He is so proud of his own voice and experience that he is incapable of truly listening! I could hardly get a sentence out that he didn't interrupt. He narely asked questions, never got a full history from me I was so rushed! He had me "figured out" 30 seconds after he walked in the door because of a ER visit diagnosis from a few ...
Loved him! Explained everything very thoroughly about a family member. Offered continued care and to call at any time with questions or if she needed anything.
He has never heard of Mycobacterium avium subspecies paratuberculosis. It is very common and can easily be found on a Google search. If you have a gastroenterologist that has never heard of this, do not let them diagnose you with Crohn's disease! The medication the doctor prescribed severely worsened my condition. I have reverted to only natural medications for a year-and-a-half now and feel wonderful, compared to the 7 year nightmare I experienced under his care. Is this why he moved to Texas?
Spend a lot of time talking with me and helping me to understand my IBS.
Dr. Brady gave a short report after my colonoscopy, and the next word I had, he had prescribed medication (expensive). There was a follow-up letter giving me the diagnosis. No discussion of any available options. He is not good at communication. I am sure he is qualified, but I like to have a discussion about my treatment.
I woke up in the middle of the colonoscopy and he refused to give me more Rx to go back to sleep and I had to hold the hand rails and cry through it awake. If he says you won't feel anything and will sleep through it and you pay him for this and he refused to do it correctly resulting in the worst expected I would avoid him if at all possible. I have had other colonoscopies before and It was not like this at all!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
