My husband suffered a nasty fall and broke his ankle in three places while we were traveling in AR. The closest hospital was two hours away at Mercy Springfield where we met Dr Merriman who was so kind and did such an excellent job of putting him back together again. Even the orthopedic here at home in Chicago commented on what a great job the surgeon had done on my husband’s ankle. 12 weeks later he’s now back at his construction job!!! Dr Merriman is seriously an amazing Dr. I cannot stress enough what an awesome young man and talented surgeon Dr Merriman is. We were so lucky to have had him repair my husbands ankle. We could not be happier with the results. Thankyou Dr Merriman and the nurses and staff at Mercy Springfield!!!

The best doctor I have ever had. Had a horrible car accident July2015 first surgery was done by someone who doesn't deserve to work on people . My leg became deranged and was not set right the first time. So SuperDoc (Merriman) has tried the best he could to reconstruct my bone fragments. Thank you Doc for ALL you have done. Yes Im in alot of pain but you have helped me through. You will be missed

Doctor Merriman is a great surgeon. He actually listens to what the patient is saying and will help you through the whole way through your healing process. My first surgery was with another surgeon and I was very disappointed to have a second surgery and discouraged that it would stay the same. Well when I met Doc Merriman all my worries went out the window. So thank you Doctor you are the MD I have ever had -Jacob Strand (patient)
