List of David Schippert's Reviews
Had carpal tunnel, radial nerve and tennis elbow surgery done by Dr. Shippert. Surgery is never fun but Dr. Shippert and his staff have all been great. The entire process from start to finish went quickly and smoothly. I would definitely recommend him.
Randy has had several hand surgeries and as a spouse I can say we are both pleased and impressed with Dr. Schippert.
He was my husband hand surgeon very knowledgeable super sweet n very funny
Dr. Schippert and his team were awesome! The quality of care that I received was much appreciated! It’s been almost a year since he performed the surgery, and I haven’t had any issues. If you have high expectations from your doctor, this is the man to see!!
Dr Schippert has preformed surgery on both of my hands and I am more than thrilled with the outcome. No more pain, no more sleepless nights. He takes the time to explain and answer any questions you may have. I would highly recommend Dr. Schippert for anyone needing help with hand pain.
I had three separate surgeries at the same time. Then 4 months later two more. Dr Schippert was my surgeon and he is outstanding. He explained everything to me and my family before and after surgery. He takes his time and is very through. I would recommend him to anyone.
Dr Schippert himself was excellent and so were the nurses and staff. Unfortunately we are removing our son from his care due to the extreme frustration and hassle from Janet in the Financial office. They have a horrible self pay policy that asks for a deposit prior to the visit with the explanation that anything charged over the deposit at the conclusion of the visit will be eligible for a 20% discount including the discount amount. Sounds great until you learn that the high dollar "deposit" you paid was actually the visit cost upfront. I felt lied to and treated very disrespectful just because we were self-pay. Talking to discuss this Janet was impossible, she won't look you in the face while conversing, interrupts constantly and talks over you. After admitting regret for choosing Cox Bone and Joint Center, she told us "you are self-pay you can take your business down the road to Mercy".
Dr.Sheppert is amazing but his financially department can not be trusted I had to have surgery back in Jan 2018 when I came to office I asked if I was in network and I was told yes come to find out I was not so after surgery I get a bill for 16000 when it should have only been 3000 after insurance when I called to discuss this with Janet she was very rude unsympathetic and uncaring said it was my fault that I didn’t check with my insurance but I trusted them to tell me the truth when I asked so now I’m stuck with a giant bill I can’t afford but I’m not done fighting this
He listened to me explain my symptoms and diagnosed my condition. I was given a pamphlet explaining the process of my condition which was helpful. Even though there aren't a lot of options to help me I felt he was very compassionate.
Dr. Schippert and his staff are WONDERFUL! He is professional AND personable. He explains things very well, and took time in the visit to listen. He has performed 2 of my surgeries, his bedside manner is THE BEST. He is very kind and also has a good sense of humor, which is great. I would refer him to everyone! You can tell he is a good leader, because all his staff is top notch too. I am SO pleased.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
