Heath Melugin's Online Review Report Card

Dr Melugin is an outstanding and quite knowledgeable orthopedic physician. He took the time to explain my upcoming procedure thoroughly, answered all my questions and genuinely showed an interest in my outcome. When I have called with a question or issue, Dr Melugin has been the one to call me back. It is a comfort to talk directly with the doctor himself rather than someone unfamiliar with my case. His PA and office staff are most caring, thorough, considerate and knowledgeable. I have experienced waiting times where I have sat in an orthopedic office for a lengthy time, but not this office. My time is highly respected as there is little to no wait time. This doctor and office have surpassed any and all expectations I might have had. I would highly recommend Dr Melugin on all levels.

Although my shoulder pain was minor, I was able to be worked into Dr Melugin’s schedule in a very timely manner. You can tell that his staff and colleagues respect him and each other. He was easily and quickly able to assess what was going on and treat appropriately. I haven’t had shoulder pain since! Great experience!!!

Very good bedside manner. When he can, he contacts you personally to answer questions. Had several surgeries performed on my knee prior to this surgeon. Dr Melugin performed my last surgery and for the first time in a long time I actually feel like I am fixed long term. I am very thankful for his knowledge and skills.

Dr. Melugin truly values the well being of his patients. He consults with everyone that is involved in his patient’s care prior to and post surgery. He also really values the expertise of the Physical Therapist that works with his patient’s, giving them the freedom to rehabilitate the patient in a way that best fits their goals and the individual.

The Ozarks are quite fortunate to have attracted Dr. Melugin with his exceptional Mayo/Steadman training to this area. On track for an excellent outcome, I’m thankful for his technical skills. So far, I have actually seen Dr. Melugin for each post surgery follow up appointment. And isn’t that what we all want, to have the person who performed our surgery tell us how we are actually doing after surgery? I’m thankful to have been steered to this new orthopedic surgeon by another highly respected orthopedic surgeon. I join others in highly recommending Dr. Melugin.

Top notch, Efficient , direct and actually listened to me the patient. I'm 61 and dislocated my shoulder. I'm slower at healing than I used to be :) He recommended PT instead of surgery.. He and Taylor his assistant were wonderful. Hope that I'll never need them again, but if I do, I know will be treated well.. Many many Thanks Terry Wendt
