Dr. J Sparks is the best. He really cares about his patients. He will do all he can to get you the best care and answers. He follows up with you and listens to what you have to say. He is the hardest working physician I know.

He is literally such an amazing dr! So patient, he spent a whole 50 minutes with me at my appointment, wow! Go see him!

Absolutely the best. It's not just the doctor himself but all the staff there. They do a fantastic job responding online. If you are a person who likes to communicate through the My Mercy app, this is the team for you. Dr Sparks always quickly gives me access to my test results and responds to any questions I send him. Normally I loathe seeing nurse practitioners and physician assistants. That is not the case with their office. I have yet to meet anyone there who has been anything but respectful. I have a more rare medical condition, and they are willing to tell me when they need to research information before answering questions. I much prefer a provider who won't try to wing it when giving me medical information they are unsure about. I have free access to the VA, but I'm happy to pay for the services of Dr Spark's and his team.

Dr Sparks has a dedication to patient care that is second to none. We all hope to partner with health care providers that are smart and will listen to our concerns but with Dr Sparks you can count on genuine, empathetic concern and a commitment to finding the answers that will help you both in the short and long term.

I've worked for a RHC for almost twenty years and have seen the busyness and required documentation almost take the place of the face -to-face encounter, however my visit with PA Katelyn was far from that. Her eye contact, questions and the true listening to my answers and concerns made me feel valued and 'seen', all the while mentoring a student who was in the room. My visit was not at all rushed nor was the vibe of being rushed there at all, great caring medical assistant that brought me back too. So hopefully refreshing to see this clinic taking a stand to put the patient first. Thank you!

Quite a few of my coworkers and myself count ourselves fortunate to have Dr. Sparks as our primary care physician. I appreciate that he listens to what I have to say. If I have a medical issue or other questions, he listens, asks for clarifications as needed, discusses what options I may have and explains the positives and negatives of each option. And he doesn’t get too upset with me when I admit I’ve “googled” my symptoms (-;

It was nice to have a Dr. spend time asking questions and really listen to the answer. This Dr. was present the whole time he was in the room.

My household are all patients of Dr. Sparks. We find him to be kind, thorough, knowledgeable, and caring. He lends his time well to his patients and doesn't make hasty decisions about their care. Explains things very well...cares that you understand what he is saying. Never waited over 20 minutes to see him. Office is well staffed so patients get the care they need...even if they may not get to see him. Makes great referral for specialized care. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Sparks...unmatched!
