Dr. Burson & his staff always go above and beyond for me and my kiddos! They are kind, respond promptly, and very professional. Love this office

Dr. Burson recommended rice cereal added to formula for reflux for my 6 week old. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends against this due to the arsenic in rice cereal. He also overlooked that my daughter has Stahl's ear. I realized it at 7 weeks old and now rather than being able to be fixed with ear molds (must be done within the first 21 days of life) it would require surgery at 4-5 years. When I asked about it his nurse told me that Dr. Burson said "Stahl's ear is subjective and he thought V's ears were just perfect for her." A doctor that specializes in ear deformities diagnosed Stahl's ear. When I shared this with the nurse she insinuated that the specialist diagnosed it, because he wanted business. The specialist would not treat her, because she is too old, therefore he did not get any business from us. The nurse eventually asked if I needed help finding another pediatrician then gave me the name of another Mercy pediatrician that does not take patients that are transferring from other Mercy doctors. Overall, the staff is nice, but the medical care is extremely disappointing. I’m thankful my daughter does not have something life threatening for Dr. Burson to overlook and claim "it's subjective".

We absolutely LOVE Dr. Burson. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and listens to all your momma concerns. We were new to the area and researched doctors. He had high reviews and they were truthful. Best doctor we have ever had. We are so sad to move away from our favorite pediatrician. Have not found another Pediatrician as amazing with such an incredible staff as well. The staff are on top of every single request you have. They ALWAYS help with all requests for immunizations and records. I have never had any issues here. I highly recommend Dr. Burson and his staff to everyone in this area.

I trust Dr. Burson. He has been both of my children's pediatrician since birth. He is patient and compassionate and always takes time to explain.

Dr. Burson and his staff have been wonderful. He is so knowledgeable and keeps up with the latest evidenced based practice and throughly answers questions and never feels rushed. He makes sure not only our daughter is taken care of but also made sure we as her parents were adjusting well. I could go on forever about Dr. Burson, but if you are looking for a pediatrician I would highly recommend Dr. Burson
