Jonben Dale Svoboda's Online Review Report Card

I waited 3 months to see this provider who was listed as one of the top 10 in missouri. I was belittled, not listened to and he immediately set about to discredit one of my other doctors which I thought was very unprofessional. He recommended I get off hormone replacement therapy immediately which has worked well for me for a number of years he the dismissed me telling me I didn't need someone with his expertise and years in medical school I could just get my other doctor to write my prescription. If asked I would not recommend his services to anyone I left his office feeling mistreated and unheard after just 1 visit!

Great experience

He was extremely rude and personally insulted both me and my wife. He had not even introduced himself when he started ordering us to move out of the room we were in, He was the absolute rudest doctor I have ever experienced! He talked 90 miles an hour as if he had way to much caffeine that morning. He was speaking in a very sarcastic tone when he several times stated" God Bless America", perhaps because of my Air Force hat I had on. My wife and I came very close to walking out of the appointment, but stayed and it took us a couple of days to get over the meeting with him.

I have gone to Dr. Svoboda for a good while and have found him competent, sympathetic, and courteous. He explains things so I can understand them. I highly recommend him!!!!

Or lower if possible. This dr was more concerned with my wearing a mask TIGHTLY around my face than the fact that I could not get my breath. He wouldnt allow even a few minutes for me to get my breath holding the mask an inch from my face. I have never been treated so rudely and uncaring by anyone, much less a dr. Makes me wonder if I was treated this way because of my age.

He is very knowledgeable in his field as well Dr Svaboda is excellent in explaining conditions so the patient is able to understand exactly what is going on with your body! Listens to the patient and actually hears them. I like that in a Doctor.

Dr. Svoboda replaced Dr. Lyon, who retired and provided superb insightful and experienced care, in my health care. He and staff have purveyed a smooth comforting transition exceptional quality, experienced, and compassionate services for what is a short significant interchange, a doctor's appointment, et al.

Dr. Svoboda seemed to have a wonderful personality. While he was easy to be around, I don't feel like he heard any of my concerns. He seemed very rushed, typed on his laptop as I spoke to him and gave no real explanations of what might be causing my symptoms. I explained that the medicine that was prescribed made my symptoms worse and he then increased my dose with no explanation...only a call from his nurse to notify of the change. Calls to the office for more explanation were not returned. I expected more from a specialist. I have since found a new doc.

To much joking around for such a serious issue. Not worried at all by my symptoms because--wait for it--- levels were good--he just gave me a pill and that is it. No explanation of this horrible disease! WHAT? WAIT WHAT? I have a new Endo across the street now.

Dr. Svoboda is a doctor that I met because of a mass in my parotid gland. The ENT doctor sent me to him for a biopsy. It has been years since I have seen a doctor with as much care in his heart as this man. He used his humor to lighten the mood of a man, me, who thought he had cancer. I highly recommend Dr. Svobda to anyone looking for an Endocrinologist and a doctor with a heart. His staff was great as well. CoxHealth Adult Medicine and Endocrinology should be proud and do everything they can to keep a doctor of this caliber on staff. I whole heartedly recommend Dr. Svoboda, MD, FACE, ECNU
