Phenomenal Dr- excellant surgeon. He performed a laprascopic hernia surgery on me and it went awesome! I obviosuly wasnt awake for it but Im not in any un-needed pain and Im glad hes not the type of Dr to over prescribe pain meds. I took one and got nauseous. Thanks Doc for the excellent skill and repair you made

I was treated by the dr and when requested paper work for a leave that my company would approve if more than two weeks i would of been able to do my follow up apt. At this time i lose all my pay and will have to miss my folllow up because of this. my pmc fill out my leave paper all i needed it to say was the 17. So i am not happy with the interaction with his office. And hope i dont have to go back for anything in this type of nature going on forward.

I went in for emergency surgery for my galblater to be removed. Ask to have leave extended till i could do my follow up with his office. Declined my job wont take hand written notes so i asked for a leave of absence till the 17 i go on the 16th for follow up he would not acomdate anything. My husband was admitted to ER & presented with abdominal/ epigastric pain. Dr. McElderry had a great bedside manner & explained the surgery & answered all of our questions regarding his gallbladder removal & what to expect post op. We would highly recommend him.

My experience was awesome. I presented to ER and needed my gallbladder removed. He was kind and compassionate and took great care of me. I would definitely see him again and recommend him highly. He is a highly train and skilled trauma surgeon.

No stars for this nightmare of a doctor. My grandmother had emergency surgery and he said she would be fine with no pain meds. After insistence from the nurses and elder care social workers. He prescribed less than 24 hours worth of pain meds for her. The day after she got home, she called his office because her pain was out of control. He told her tough luck and she would have to rough it out. This is not a drug abuser, she is a sweet 83 year old who had to needlessly suffer because of this horrible doctor. Please don’t subject your loved ones to this type of experience. If you have him as a surgeon demand a different doctor. He gets some sick pleasure in people’s suffering.

Dr McElderry is the best doctor/surgeon!!! He has great beside manners, he takes his time with every patient, you can tell he truly cares about his patients. I've never meet such a kind, caring doctor!!! I would definitely recommend him to anyone!!!!!
