List of Judd Lee Mcnaughton's Reviews
Have been a patient for several years. Always very friendly and professional.
We’ve taken our daughter here for about a year and have always had a great experience. She is only 3 yo and Dr. Mcnaughten has been so helpful at identifying her amblyopia and helping us with a treatment plan to try and avoid surgery. It’s not a children’s office specifically but he’s always been kind to her and explains everything we need to know in detail and in a way that’s helpful to my spouse and me. I feel like we have a partner in addressing my daughters vision and glad to have found someone locally that has helped us!
Dr Mcnaughton has the absolute worst bedside manor I have ever experienced. In fact, he was just down right rude and traumatized our son. This is just one of multiple appointments that have been an awful experience. I feel terrible I have tolerated it this long and now I have to pay for that by having a son with a severe eye condition that is now terrified of the eye doctor. Dont get me wrong medically speaking he is great and he knows his stuff, but terrible with children and concerned parents. As a mom, I strongly suggest to never take your child here if want them to have a good experience and feel comfortable going to the eye doctor for years to come. To end it all he told us he didnt have time for him and that he was ruining his day and that we will just have to come back another time. Never will we ever bring him back or recommend this doctor to anyone.
Dr. McNaughton is really a fine, caring person with an easy manner. He has a very friendly, professional staff. He is very thorough in his exams, and encouraging throughout his treatment. I have a Daughter who has Autism, and Dr. McNaughton is skilled in helping Special Needs patients. He has my highest recommendation.
Dr. McNaughton took care of the cataracts in both of my eyes. The whole experience, from office appointment through recovery was excellent.
My daughter was diagnosed with a lazy eye in Kindergarten. I had no idea she even had a vision problem until this happened. We were referred to Dr. McNaughton who started her on glasses, and then a patching routine to strengthen her weaker eye. We saw him 2-3 times a year for 4+ years. Her treatment worked exceptionally well, and I thought both he and the entire staff were fantastic with my child. I would highly recommend him. The only downside; he's tough to get into. If you get an appointment, you better keep it.
Dr. McNaughton was very nice, even sympathetic, concerning my diagnosis.
There was nothing memorable about the visit. Doctor is pleasant and capable but front office staff is sterile and strictly business. We were willing to tolerate the personnel's aloofness had the billing been more transparent. The billing lady would rather be always right and lose 4 patients by giving insulting explanations that defy the common sense of even her most illiterate client than do her job and get to the bottom of the billing problem...so sad. This may be the reason for the 5 starred 'ease of appointment' and 'promptness'...there aren't enough patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
