Great hospitalist but once your out of hospital I can NOT find a way to contact her.

I have been seeing doctor Lyons here who has recently retired since 1998 at their old location. When they moved a few years ago to this location service and staff are just as great as they were at the other location. I see a primary doctor here and an endocrinologist. You can tell they are a little under the gun and are being rushed they're allowed 15 minutes with each patient BUT, If they need more time, They don't care to run over the appointment a little.

Dr MacGorman has been the best endocrinologist I have ever been to. Although my meetings with her are only twice a year for regular checkups she was able to visually notice a change in my appearance, she then required an additional blood test and confirmed her suspicions of something altogether different than what I had originally made an appointment for. A surgeon removed the tumor and cancer was avoided. How does a dr notice anything about appearance when they only see their patients twice a year!? She pays attention. And I am not a medical chart number to her. I am a person. And she cares deeply. P.S. After reading the other reviews.... it''s the hospital policy to hire business managers in their offices. They are in charge of payments, policies and which patients can return according to their billing. Doctors take care of patients. The information regarding billing/payments are not in the medical charts.

Was very impressed with Dr. Macgorman, she was very pleasant, spent time, got background information, listened to my concerns; and, the overall experience was exceptional. Was a transfer patient, and she made me feel welcome and that she cared. Would definitely recommend her to friends and family.

Patient and provided sufficient information for us to make decisions. Friendly with whole family. Co-operated with our financial limitations.

I AM VERY UPSET ON WHEN I NEED PUMP SUPPLIES I DONT GET THEM IN TIME I HAVE TO WAIT 2 MONTHS AND I WILL BE OUT AND THEY YELL AT ME FOR NOT HAVING THEM AND I CANT GET THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT ORDER THEM FOR ME

Dr Macgorman is one of the best endro dr in this area. She has helped my son more than anyother doctor we have seen for 30 years of type 1 diabetes . She knows her medicine and is a down to earth doctor that really cares about her patients.

She was often rude, treating me like a was an ignorant child. She told me that I had something I very clearly did not have and when I asked her about it, she got very short and asked why I was being hostile. I have since switched endocrinologists because of her lack of concern and interest in finding out what is wrong with me. She also tried to fob me off on other doctors. Frankly, Springfield will be lucky when she retires.

not at all a doctor id recomend to anyone. I was going to her to get some help with pcos, she turned me away less than 5 min in her office. Sayed she couldnt help me with my problems, wasnt nice at all about it and very rude to me and it hurt my feelings alot to get turned away and her to have no heart about any of it. SHe was the doctor I needed to see about my pcos and to help me but cause i had the insurance card from the state is more than likely the reason she wouldnt help me although her office did accept it. Not none to happy for her to let me set up a appointment and drive 2 hours to see her only to spend less than 5 min in her office to tell me that to my face and be rude like she was. I was so hurt and dissapointed and felt hopeless. a doctor should never make you feel like this.If they do then they dont need to be a doctor at all especially if its about the money and only the money seeing as this was because if i had cash she prob would of seen me. Sad real sad. A person needs real help and then get turned away just cause she has the medical card. Not right at all. I just dont recommend her to no one. This is no doctor and she dont care all about money and thats it, SAD

She refused to treat my son because we owed a balance on the account. Nevermind that we were making regular scheduled payments. She would not see him until the balance was zero. It's all about the money for her. Her office staff is rude, unhelpful, and downright nasty sometimes. We had a minimum wait of an hour before each visit. The kindly grandmother routine is a little off too.
