Louis Barton Hakan's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Louis Hakan is my son’s doctor and one of the best pediatrician here in Springfield, MO. His patience and kindness is what we love the most whenever we see him for my son’s appointment. He takes time in discussing his patient’s condition. Also the type of doctor that listens and answers all of your concerns or questions. He is open in recommending other options for the wellness of his patients. With Dr. Hakan, we are assured that my son is in good hands.

We were the first appointment of the day, but we waited over an hour because he just showed up to work late. Once he got there he saw another patient before us. He also failed to refer us to an ear specialist, telling us my son's ear was fine and didn't need follow up, but years later it began causing him problems due to the unresolved issue. He also told us the wrong way to care for our son's uncircumcised p****, resulting in needing surgery when he was 6. We dropped him as our doctor and I would not recommend him. When we got copies of the patient records, he had noted personal comments about us on our son's records.

Waited over an hour for my child to not be seen. Half hour in the waiting room alone after filling out the paperwork. That can be expected at an er not an actual doctors office. Waited about another half hour in the room where no one showed up. My husband had to go find someone who then said maybe a few more minutes or to reschedule. Will never go back. Worst pediatrician I have ever scheduled an appointment with.

Dr. Hakan has been my children's pediatrician for the past ten years. He is amazing. The wait times are the only thing I could complain about but I won't because I know the reason he runs behind is the care, attention, and time he puts in with his patients. I hope he's in practice to see all my kids through to adulthood.

Dr Hakan has taken care of my children for the last 15 years. He has always been gentle, friendly and professional. I highly recommend his services.

Dr. Hakan is the best children's Dr we have ever had for my grandson's, he takes real pride in his patients, My grandson is autistic the Dr has went out of his way to treat him so well since he was 1 and now my new grandson he's always able to get him in at a moment;s notice i wouldn't take my grandson's to anyone else he's the best,, Thank you Dr Hakan for always being there when my grandson's needed treated...

My daughter saw Dr. Hakan in urgent care last week and properly diagnosed her with HFMD after the previous doctor from the day before misdiagnosed her with an ear infection. He was very gentle and thorough with her. I was very impressed with how much he cared and with how much time he spent answering my questions. Dr. Hakan is a wonderful doctor!
