Maranatha Village's Online Review Report Card

My family was not sure where to put our mother, hoping for the best care for her with very little information. We chose Maranantha because of the Christian ownership. It was a great choice! They took such good care of her, everyone from house keeping to nursing was so kind to her, checked on her constantly, made it as comfortable as possible. Mother thought so highly of you all. You all have our Thank's and Prayers.

This place was amazing before the new hires for upper management. I worked there as a travel aide for 6-7 months and really loved the management and was able to bond with the management until they got new management. The residents are amazing, the workers are good and parts of upper management are good.

My Mom & Dad both lived there until September of 2020 when Dad passed away. Mom still lives there, and she loves it. She's been happy with most everything provided (except the television service, which she says is terrible). Other than that, she says the staff are always very helpful to her, and she is very comfortable there, and that is what's important to me.

once again let me say that communications with my grandmother there I had a reading have been restricted again. I had filed a review that was not so nice about one of the nurses Danielle, who is married to one of my cousins Rebecca. She has put restrictions on the room constantly trying to stop me from communicating with my grandmother. Jenny Hall the supervisor at this facility has spoken with my grandmother on several occasions and been told that she wanted to speak with me and she did not set any room restrictions. Now tonight after doing it again I've had to call the police department in Springfield Missouri and have to file a report for elder abuse for restricting communications to my grandmother. It's ridiculous that I have to call the police department to go to maranatha village just so I can speak with my grandmother who is undergoing rehab after about in the hospital with pneumonia. I definitely would not send my family here if you love them and you want to treasure them forever this is not the place.

Out of all of the times I got married this was easily my favorite place to do it.

PREMIERE REHAB REVIEW:This facility takes a lot of pride in their care for their patients. The staff are quick to respond when I call with questions. They provide nursing, physical therapy, and more for their patients.

I saw the reviews before we put my mother there. They are rated highly, I wonder if that’s because people are not writing new reviews. My mom had COPD and congestive heart failure. No she wasn’t healthy by no means. Her dr. Suggested to put her in hospice care , so I did under full code . Which means to Do whatever it takes to bring them around. Well the night nurse told me , and EMT she came on at 10:00 pm , checked on her at 10:30 found her unresponsive.... did nothing... called me at 12:30 pm told she’s unresponsive, I rush over , she won’t wake up rubbing, shaking, calling her name nothing,,, she had called or on the phone with hospice as I walked in. She comes to the room and reports hospice refused to com out ... my response then call an ambulance. She goes back calls hospice again that time my husband walked to the nurses station with her he talked to hospice... no we’re not coming out. Long and short to this my mom passed at 4:20 am Good care or not good care ??

A marvelous 55+ Christian community.

I had my first visit to the premises. It is truly an amazing. I had no idea the range of service provided to community. The staff are happy and have been there long term. The facility's have been taken care of. It is home like anf residents are smiling and happy. Highly recommend anyone to check out this facility as a choice for your loved ones care.
