Matthew Allen Weis's Online Review Report Card

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Weis. I have been with him since my first pregnancy in 2014. 5 pregnancies & 3 kids later (2 were early miscarriages) I am still just as happy with him and his team. So here goes pregnancy #6! He takes the time to listen, makes sure you feel comfortable asking questions- even if you think they might be dumb-, explains things well, & always treats you kindly. None of my concerns have ever been pushed under a rug. I couldn’t be happier that I found such a wonderful ob/gyn.

Highly recommend. Very caring and passionate. Listens to your concerns etc.. I was very very pleased when he did my hysterectomy in July 2021.

I called to check on the status of my referral to Dr. Weis. The young lady I spoke with told me they had not received it- a blatant lie, as I was informed by my doctor that they had returned my referral the day before asking for more information. I was a referral coordinator for over a year, I know how the job works. Rule #1 is that you don’t lie to potential patients about something as simple as a referral status. I am highly disappointed in the integrity of this office.

I started seeing Dr. Weis when I was 30 weeks pregnant due to complications. At 34 weeks he delivered my daughter and I ended up having a major surgery performed during delivery. I am now 5 months post-op and my recovery was very easy and I have had no complications. Any time I called or messaged with questions, Dr. Weis or his staff responded quickly. Me and my family feel extremely lucky that Dr. Weis was the one who took care of us. He is an expert at what he does and also has a good personality.

I have been a patient of Dr. Weis for 10 years. During that time he has assisted me with a tubal ligation and my annual exams. I fell behind on my annual exams -like 5-6 years behind. Recently I started having extremely heavy cycle bleeding due to a large fibroid and had to be admitted to the hospital due to blood loss. Even though I had not been in for such a long time he showed up at my hospital room and took care of me with great kindness! I could not ask for a better OBGYN! My daughters (23 and 25) are also patients of Dr. Weis. We HIGHLY recommend him!!

Dr Weis was incredible through my whole pregnancy. He answered all of my questions from silly to serious with the same care and understanding. He made me laugh when I was in labor several times (before epidural, which is hard to do). Made me feel at ease, and was very thorough and knowledgeable. The office was always easy to get ahold of and my questions were answered quickly or the call returned timely. I was very happy they set you up with a financial appointment before your first ultrasound so you can get an idea of costs with insurance for every appointment plus labor, stay and possible cesarean. I chose Dr Weis and the Ferrell Duncan office at cox during aug2020-may2021 smack in the middle of COVID and had the best care. I am a healthcare frontline worker (not with cox) and got COVID the week before the vaccine was available to receive and their office was so helpful and quick to answer during the unknowns of pregnancy and COVID at the time. Every call was returned quickly and even my silly questions were respected.

He delivered my 4th child & dealt with me & my older sister at the same time! Although we were like night and day when it came to our pregnancies only because when you get to your 4th child you don't have any questions or need to bug the Dr. Or worry at that point you are an expert at being pregnant lol ?? Loves the staff as well. Still till this day the only Doctor I was excited to go see!

I have been going to this clinic since I was 15. Highly recommend Dr. Weiss. He became my doctor when I was hospitalized at cox and has been my obgyn since. Very knowledgeable and understanding. He diagnosed my PCOS and I appreciate how he always takes the time to explain what is going on with reproductive health and answer all my questions, where as most doctors don’t take that extra time. Going to to an obgyn can cause a lot of anxiety, but Dr. Weiss and his nurses are very good at making you feel as comfortable as possible and are always quick to get back with me on any questions or concerns I may have. Definitely recommend this clinic.

I am currently 33w4d pregnant with my second daughter. I originally was seeing an OB in Branson at Cox, and after a mediocre experience I decided to switch to Dr. Matthew Weis in Springfield. I came across his name when doing research about the best OB’s at Cox. He was recommended more times than imaginable. So I decided to choose him, and let me just say this has been the absolute BEST experience so far. Him and his team are absolutely amazing and genuinely care about their patients. They have taken such great care of me! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Weis, his Nurse Practitioner Rebecca Hampton, and their nurses. 10/10!
