Dr. Gathiaya did not listen to my answers in her line of questioning at my appointment. Her notes and my responses to the questions were not properly recorded in my health profile. Which tells me she did not listen to anything I said. She failed at properly preforming a procedure and expects I will keep her as my provider to attempt the procedure for a second time at my expense. I should have seen the red flags when she flipped into robot mode rattling off memorized information. Very impersonal. Left feeling like I was just part of the office assembly line.

Honestly, I saw her 2012-2013 my thyroid was dead non functioning a huge goiter I needed surgery I almost lost my voice cos of her. All she wanted to do was more tests!

Dr Gathaiya, made incredible changes in my life and my quality of life. I cannot say enough about the way she has provided care to myself and my family by proxy.

Very knowledgeable and caring! She helped me with my osteopenia and found the reason I was losing calcium. She is not pushy about treatment but just very knowledgeable and helps you understand what is going on so you can make an informed decision.

Hands down best endocrinologist I have ever had after 24 years of trying to manage thyroid with other endocrinologist. She is like all of us, not perfect, but she changed my life and I love her for that.

insists on prescribing harmful higher doses of meds even after previously prescribed medications at lower doses have been tried. refuses to return phone calls (3 days and waiting when side effects are extreme. sends medications to wrong pharmacy resulting in higher costs to patient !!!! does not consider other illnesses when prescribing medications orders duplicate testing resulting in patient paying for tests immediately changes patient ratings without justification, after one visit stops all /most testing of previous Doctor of 5 years after first visit Offers no explanation of blood work readings demands more insulin usage when levels are 100 + -, tells me to eat more to accommodate insulin usage Next visit cuts insulin supply in half = 30 units to 15 unit supply , 20 day+- supply instead of 90 day supply, results - higher cost, 30 miles trips every 20 +- days instead of mail order every 90 days office visit 8-10 min when questioned she dropped visits from quarterly to bi yrly

She has always took time to listen to me and helped me with my hypothyroidism a lot.

I saw Dr. Gathaiya for diabetic and thyroid issues. She is very caring and knowledgeable. When scoping my thyroid, she showed her own as an example of what a healthy organ should look like. She listens and follows through on what she says she will do. My only complaint is that she is so busy that it is difficult to get in for an appointment.

Great doctor has done wonders on my diabetes
