The WORST primary care doctor I've EVER experienced. When calling about a stomach bug health concern (called literally the minute they opened), I didn't get a call back until the following afternoon and was told I should go get a COVID test. Within an hour I had gotten confirmation I was positive for COVID and called the office back to advise on how I should proceed since my symptoms more aligned with food poisoning or stomach flue and not what I would consider typical COVID symptoms. I was informed that I needed to quarantine but they would need to ask the doctor for further instructions. So I waited, and waited. The next day they informed me that I should go get labs, but I quickly pushed back because I was supposed to be quarantining so I asked is there anything I can take in the meantime to help ease my symptoms (AGAIN). They told me they would have to reach out to the doctor for further instructions, I said okay. Again they called back they AGAIN told me to get labs....I'm still supposed to be quarantining. At this point I gave up with doctor Raj and his team and called my old primary care from a DIFFERENT STATE and hadnt been to in about 2 years at this point to see if they could advise me. Within 5 minutes they were able to quickly and efficiently tell me what I needed to do. It should not be this difficult to get assistance and help from your primary care doctor. As a patient, im looking to my primary care doctor to ensure I'm doing what's best for my body. Not play phone tag for days and get absolutely no help. Will be switching primary care doctor IMMEDIATELY.
My father has been a patient for almost a year. My dad is 84. The dr seemed over zealous in referring him for cataract surgery, hearing aids, and some other procedures. The last appointment I took dad to, the dr quizzed me on where I lived, where I went to school, job and other personal questions. It made me extremely uncomfortable. Plus, we were in the exam room for 25 minutes before he saw us. I d say skip this guy and keep looking.
Dr. Raj is awesome. Kind, sympathetic and willing to listen. He understands underlying causes and tries to treat them effectively. I was happy receiving his treatment. As a primary care physician he understood my background and distinct eating habits and worked treatment plans according to my dietary preferences. Every time I go for an examination he is very thorough and attentive.
Would not recommend for the following reasons: Could not diagnose gout after X-rays and MRI and a blood clot in the leg. Failure to order a Doppler ultrasound to diagnose clot. Had no plan for treatment of non-ambulatory presentation of symptoms in patient. Sent patient to ER rather than admitting him for further tests. Diagnosis was a blood clot in the leg and acute gout in both feet and ankles. Doctor doubled blood pressure meds rather than treating acute pain from above conditi

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
