This smarmy little man thinks he is gods gift to medicine. He is incompetent, treats people like he is superior to them. Fails in every way at treating patients. Is rude and condescending. I would rather go down in a plane crash than see him again.

What should be a simple decision - partial refills of medications that CANNOT BE MISSED until our appt in 10 days - apparently eludes this man's comprehension. He is willing to consign this patient to the local emergency room with seizures and potentially fatal heart complications rather than fill long-term (three years) lithium and benzodiazepine medications for the two weeks until we meet. Negligent and out of touch with humanity, and aware that I cannot be seen by another psychiatrist in time to prevent these severe complications, this person (and definitely his combative assistant) should be held accountable for this negligence. Neither of them will, and I'm sure he is aware of this. Be careful if you decide to select a psychiatrist in this facility.
