I am so happy and thankful that Dr. El Chami is my rheumatologist! She is friendly, caring, a great listener, and professional. I feel comfortable to discuss my issues with her and relieved to know that she will help me. She answers all my questions and communicates in a way that I completely understand her comments and medical advice. If I need her guidance in between appointments, she is quick to respond to my phone calls or my messages on the health portal. I highly recommend her and hope you will make an appointment with her at Cox health. I am also very pleased and happy with the friendly care that I receive from her support staff. Thank you all for taking such good care of me.

I’m so grateful for the work Dr El Chami has done with my condition. She is an excellent listener, she’s reasonable in her approach, considers the costs of treatments to her patients, and she’s responsive to my needs. I think I respect her knowledge the very most—she’s very up to date in her practices and and her decisions are evidence-based. She has made life more livable again for me! I would recommend her to anyone needing a rheumatologist.

I have been seeing Dr El Chami for about 2 years now and find she is thorough, helps me work through what will help with my health and is a compassionate doctor.

Quite literally totally pointless. SO MANY things she could have investigated to figure out why my body is deteriorating so incredibly but she did nothing aside from the same bloodwork as my primary and an image that had already been done. To the various visible, quite shocking changes in my body, her answer was always,"I don't know why that's happening but it's not a concern." Not to her, anyway. Its a concern to me. To my family. But never to her. When I'd try to express how this illness is negatively impacting my life(an understatement), her reply became expected and as generic as it gets..."I'm sorry for what you're going through." but no idea for how we might be able to address it. She shamed me on multiple occasions for having so many CT scans, trying to masquerade it for concern. It was grimy on the receiving end. But, again, no ideas for how we could end the endless pointlessness of the poison they so carelessly pump into my body to avoid any genuine effort or cognition. To top it off and prematurely sever the relationship without saying the words, she told me she thinks it's a connective tissue disease(Genome sequence says no) and then lied and said she doesn't handle connective tissue diseases when every profile you pull of her says she does...specifically....connective tissue diseases. She is the epitome of a spin doctor...as if openly flaunting her lawlessness, teasing you with the idea of helping but never actually getting there; knowing there is no accountability for self- proclaimed "heros". You could probably find out more about your body on Google and keep your dignity by not having to wait and plead with someone who never had the intention of truly understanding.
