Acknowledging other patients in that she didn’t coddle me and say poor baby. I did not get a sticker after my visit either. She is direct. She diagnosed and set up treatment timely. Her nurse is very friendly.

She is like having a friend as your Dr. Very precise in covering my health.

Extremely please with my first visit. Dr. Chang listened to my list of concerns, was knowledgeable, and prompt in addressing those concerns. I appreciate her clear communication and the time she took to explain things thoroughly.

She doesn’t seem to like to see patients. Call her office for an appointment and she refers you to urgent care or the ER which both have higher copays. She then makes snarky comments about how many times you’ve been to the ER and doesn’t seem to know that two times the urgent care sent you to the ER. Try and have a conversation about the bad reactions you’ve had to the COVID vaccines and booster shots and the conversation dies. She’s not interested in that I guess. Overall it’s difficult if not impossible to get a timely appointment if you define timely as being when you need an appointment rather than 6 months into the future. I did not find this provider to be caring, nor intellectually curious nor in possession of a good work ethic. She does give referrals if you can get in to see her. But I really needed a neurology referral over 6 months ago and now I’m sitting here with a twitching eye and facial numbness and wishing I could see a neurologist and if she’d given me that referral I requested back in March 2022 I might not be having this problem today.

Excellent Primary Care Doc! I have had multiple over the last few years (some left the cox system, and one I switched away from for various reasons) and finally found her, I really hope she sticks around. She's obviously well prepared for visits, remembers me and my specifics, very attentive, listens well, and clearly wants to help. She's taken the time to explain the what and why of each result and decision for what to do next. She also communicates well and quickly, messaging me with results and interpretation quickly. She also orders tests and sends in Rx scripts very quickly. I've previously had condescending doctors, ones with bad "bedside" manner, ones that fail to communicate/follow-up and ones that do not explain anything... she's been the opposite of all of those. Highly recommended!

Dr. Chang is the best doctor I have ever had. Best for Springfield, Missouri and for me.

Through, personable, referrals made to specialists. Refills on routine meds but not pain meds. Efficient office

I can see why people would not feel comfortable with her. I saw her for the first time today and I will say she is not a warm and fuzzy Dr. She is straightforward and a bit on the dry side. However, she was really good with me today. I asked questions and she answered them well. When I asked a question about what she was looking at on my chart she immediately turned the screen around and showed me. She seems to be knowledgeable and while I was waiting to speak to the nurse, she looked up a condition that I was telling here about and came in with a printout to talk to me about what she had found so we could be more specific when speaking with another Dr. I had no issues with her and am happy with the direction we are going in my care plan. I think it is best to ask questions of a Dr. and be willing to be a partner in your care plan. I think this is still hard for people to do as we still think doctors are supposed to know everything right them.

Not caring or compassionate at all. Shows no emotion or empathy. I thought maybe she would lighten up after I seen her a few times but after 2.5 years she still cold and stern. She was not understanding and made me feel like my anxiety was my fault when I asked her for help, even though she's the one who diagnosed me with the anxiety. I will not be returning.

Dr Chang is the best doctor I've ran across down here in Springfield mo I'm from St Joseph mo and would drive the 4 hour trip to keep her if I ever moved back to st Joseph !!!!!THAT'S HOW GOOD AND CAREING SHE IS. KEEP ON KEEPING ON DR CHANG!!!!!!!
