I had the same PCP for 31 years before I decided to move to Springfield. My coworkers told me Steeplechase was the place to go, so I called and got an appointment. It was a checkup and I had to get my meds changed over to him; I was terrified to be honest. I've been dealt a difficult hand so learning to trust someone new is not easy. I went in for my appointment and filled out the life health history and in walks Dr. Newbold. We went over my (large) medication list, explained my complicated migraine history TBI-GSW, and he was completely unphased; EVERYONE else always freaks out. That was what won him for me - he wasn't afraid unlike everyone else and he told me he'd seen much worse. He referred me to specialists, got my meds straightened out and IMPROVED and I was out the door. He is very to the point but you will absolutely be heard. His entire staff is this way and I couldn't be more thankful. I have terrible luck but I'm so glad luck was on my side for this. The best in town!

I first used Dr. Newbold as my primary physician when I moved to Monett in the early 90s. He has always listened to me and referred me to specialists when needed. Now that he is in Springfield I still use him. He is definitely worth the drive.

I am fortunate to have a lifelong friend as my primary care physician. I am not the best patient, to say the least. But when I needed Dr. Newbold this past spring during a scary bout with Covid, he stepped in and handled my care like the true professional he really is. I will be forever grateful for the support my family and I received from him during these crazy times.

Doc is first rate!! Been my dr. 25 plus years. Wouldn't trust my health to any other physician.!! And further more "ONE OF THE MOST OUTSTANDING HUMAN BEINGS I'VE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF KNOWING!!!!!!!!"
