List of Thomas M Shultz's Reviews
I've seen Dr.Shultz for over 20 years. He has done 7 surgeries and delivered all 4 of my children. I had a rare issue with my uterus causing several miscarriages and he was amazing through it all! He is very smart and the best surgeon around! I've never had a single complication from any of my surgeries. You may have a wait when you go for your appointment but trust me, he's worth it! There's a wait because he's that good!
Waiting...waiting....more waiting. Every visit is behind by 1-2 HOURS
I am 36 weeks and I wait 2 hours! Then he’s too lazy to check my cervix or even respond to any concerns I had! I get no measurement or belly check and the nurse doesn’t even check babies heartbeat! I’m so mad!
He truly listened to my concerns and investigated. He offered options that another doctor refused due to being overweight. I cannot thank him enough for valuing me.
Great doctor. Explains everything very well. Genuinely concerned.
Dr Shultz is an outstanding doctor. He has helped me figure out why I’m having pain. He has been very kind and super thorough! I’d highly recommend him.
Dr Shultz is an excellent doctor! He has helped me figure out why I’m having so much pain! He is thorough and very kind! He is also a great educator. I really appreciate his help.
I have had two healthy babies with Dr. Shultz. He cares about his patients and what matters to them. I also go to his NP for annual well checks. Great physician and team!
I am a registered nurse and have been in healthcare for 10+ years. Therefore, I understand medical practices and expect high standards of the care for myself and my unborn child. I had to switch OBGYNs during my pregnancy due to the lack of concern that I felt Dr. Shultz and his staff had. For one, I have never heard of catheterizing a pregnant patient for a urine specimen. This significantly increases the risk for infection which is the last thing you want while carrying a fetus. I also had to made numerous ER visits due to severe dehydration. I phoned his office numerous times and would not receive a return call for either hours or days. In addition, I had to suggest medications to prescribe for my hyperemesis. I am also not an individual who likes to miss work due to being in management and feeling like my staff depend on me. I missed over 2 weeks of work and called his office regarding FMLA. I finally received a call after 9+ hours stating he would place me on temporary FMLA for 2 weeks. I understood this was intermittent FMLA so I could still work when I felt well and miss when I was having episodes of vomiting. I received a call from HR stating he was putting my on FMLA for 2 weeks not intermittent FMLA. When I called his office to discuss this, they stated Dr Shultz was on vacation and this is what we agreed to so they would not change it. Lastly, I typically had to wait 1.5-5 hours to see Dr. Shultz at my scheduled appointments. I myself or my husband could not afford every month to have to take off a whole day of work because we never knew how long we would have to wait in the waiting room. Therefore, I had to switch providers and find a new provider which I knew would listen to my concerns and provide the upmost care.
Dr Shultz has been my physician for 8-9 years. I find him thorough and attentive. Although busy, he takes time to answer questions and analyze my health care needs.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
