I’m a new patient. The entire team, front desk, appointment team, nurse, assistants AND Dr. Micka all helpful, friendly and highly competent. Went above and beyond to answer all questions and assist in several requests I had. Very impressed and I’m not easy to impress.

Dr. Micka helped me identify allergies that were causing contact dermatitis. I completed 3 types of allergy testing to get the much needed answers. I am grateful to him and his staff for their help and patience.

I cannot recommend this doctor's care highly enough! Dr. Micka has always shown himself to be an excellent listener with a sincere concern for my overall well-being. He has been successful in treating my allergies. Though he is obviously unable to treat me for a gastrointestinal issue (he is, after all, an allergist--not a GI doc), he showed greater sympathy and concern for my GI condition than even my gastroenterologist. I wish all my physicians were as considerate.

I had lip swelling and wanted blood test done. He did skin test and found nothing. I went to a lab testing place and have a peanut allergy among many others. He said allergies couldn’t cause lip swelling. It’s a classic sign!!! Spent hundreds of dollars for nothing.

My daughter, who's 15 now, has had allergic issues since a young age of 2. She is allergic from multiple things ranging from hand sanitizer, multiple foods to the very trees/ grass we have all over Springfield. Every single visit with Dr. Micka has been a blessing. We not only leave with a complete understanding of all the above issues but we have never encountered a negative, non smiling worker in this office. Highly recommend to all children and adults alike.

There was a wait to see the Dr, but he spent 2 hours with me, and when I left I felt hopeful and knew I wasn't crazy! My "allergy to touch" was a real thing! And treatments are as real as the disorder! So, you might wait, but he will spend all the time he needs learning about you, your issues, and he won't make you feel like a hypochondriac like the last 3 Drs you have seen.

We waited 45min before the staff came out and informed us that they lost the allergy vials for the shot's. Then we had to wait another 15min while they mixed up some new vials. In the end we spent an hour and a half, before we could leave. This has never happened before. I am deeply disappointed.
