I would recommend Dr. Hoyt to anyone who is seeking psychiatric care. He’s very intelligent and empathetic, and he gives you a hopeful vision for recovery alongside a realistic perspective of your present situation in life. I also really appreciate that he takes his time with each patient within each session in order to fully hear their story and symptoms. Overall I have met many people in the world of psychological care and while I sincerely appreciate them all, Dr. Hoyt has helped me the most by far. (Thank you, Dr. Hoyt.)

I've been a patient of Dr Hoyt since 2010. He compassionate, he sincerely has the will being of his patients at heart. I was a mess when we met, I'd had a doctor shoving pain meds at my depression issues for years, so we had to undo that to move forward, and we did.. I say "we" because it was a team effort, but a sure victory with D Hoyt coaching.

Dr. Hoyt took the time and every effort to help me up from the depression and anxiety I had all of my life. I met him 2 years ago and today, I am functioning and holding a job and the dark place is virtually gone. I remember how I felt when I was so sick, but I no longer feel that way. I continue to stay under his care and each day I thank him for healing me, when no other doctor could. I will be forever thankful to him.

Is he an Ophthalmologist or a Psychiatrist? I am searching for a Psychiatrist who is highly trained and experienced in therapy and psychopharmacology, not some one who has just added Psychiatry to their list of specialties. I am skeptical.

Dr. Hoyt is without a doubt the most caring doctor I believe I have ever met. He truly cares about his patients and their families. He's very hard to get in to see because so many people go to him and request him.

Dr. Hoyt has seen me at my lowest and he has helped bring me back out of the darkness of depression and into a productive, happy person who is actually living life. Great doctor that really likes seeing his patients heal and grow out of needing his services.
