I've been a patient of Dr. Detten's for 19 yrs and his nurse from 2000 to 2002. He is, hands-down, the best Family Practice physician. Exceptionally efficient, thorough and knowledgeable. He genuinely cares for his patients. He listens to questions and concerns, and explains diagnoses, procedures, and treatment plans with clarity. Wonderful bedside manner. Highly recommend.

Dr. Detten has been my doctor for about 8 years. I have never had such excellent care. If I call, I get seen. If I have a problem, he treats it or refers me. I never have to suffer for long periods before he believes that I'm really having a problem. Because of his care, I lose very little work time because I am most always feeling well! My most recent experience was going in for gastric problems and right-sided pain in my rib cage, he immediately got me in for testing and found gallbladder disease, and I was referred and had surgery within 2 weeks. I feel so much better!
