List of Total Access Urgent Care's Reviews
I paid this place while I was in the building. They called and said I owed more so i payed. Now I get a bill that says I never paid and owe a lot. These people are scam artists and you should not go hear unless you don't plan on paying your bill anyway
Not really sure if they know what to do. Went into the First Capital Drive location. Not terribly busy so it only took 20 minutes. I had severe back pain so they wanted to do a CT Scan but that meant I had to go to the O’Fallon location. They started an IV - took 3 times but they got it. Then sent me to O’Fallon. Got the CT and they told me I had to go back to First Capital because I was their patient. So I went back and waited. They had to have the radiologist read the CT. A couple hours later they said there was nothing wrong that was found and sent me home with muscle relaxers. The next day I ended up in the emergency room with a kidney stone. TAUC said they found nothing. One thing TAUC prides themselves on is that going there is a cost savings to patients. In my case it wasn’t true. My bill was $3,000. My ER visit was less. This was about 15 months ago. Here is the kicker. I recently received an additional bill from them for something they said my insurance has now stopped paying for and billed them back. So they came after me for $68. From 15 months ago. I don’t even have that insurance anymore. I tried nicely to understand and work something out but they said no.Well I said no because I couldn’t even verify it was an actual charge as they would never send me an itemized bill. Now they have turned this over to collections and are bothering all the time.I paid a lot of money for nothing and a lot of hassle. Will never go back.Note: After TAUC turned this over for collections I just paid the $68.I have been contacted by Total Access Urgent Care over this review. 2 different people have called me wanted to talk about fixing this problem. They did give me the $68 refund but after that…….nothing. Neither person ever called me back like they promised. I did get the money back but this is a horrible place.
advertises as a walk in urgent care, but the line is so deep I waited 8hrs to even be seen. I can't even schedule an appointment now for serious health concerns its ridiculous.
Just waited 45 minutes to see a doctor in the room and when I asked “will somebody show up to see me?” the answer was “unfortunately we are full.”
Check in very quick and easy. Had to wait in room over 30 minutes had to ask status of when we were going to be at least checked in on. Tech was very good and professional. Staff needs to communicate with patients to make sure they are informed. Took way to long to get COVID blood test.
When they ran my insurance they told me it would be covered. Two months later I received a surprise bill in the mail.
I was very impressed the staff is friendly and compasionate. Took me right back to a room with no wait time . They are able to do testing for most issues on the spot the medical staff explained all options, treatment , and also filled my prescription on site. Don't think I will ever use a hospital again. Great experience highly recommend trying them first.
The staff was very kind and the doctor and nurse listened to all of my concerns and came up with a care plan based on what were the most prevalent issues. Long wait time but I was checked on multiple times throughout my wait.
Always prompt and responsive care-I always leave feeling better and with a great care and follow up plan I feel good about. Better than er for migraines.
Had to get 2 covid tests here 1. To leave the country 1 when I got back. Friendly staff. Check in process easy. Would come in to tell me how long it would be etc

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
